House Janja is a private accommodation, located only 4 km from the entrance to the Plitvice Lakes National Park, on the main road of Seliste Dreznicko.
It is easily accessible from the main road D1 and can also be reached by bus, as there is a bus station in front of the property. Janja offers cosy and spacious family rooms with wooden elements and central heating. The rooms have their own bathroom and they offer SAT-TV. There is a big parking place, a children's playground and barbecue facilities. You will also find a market 50 metres from the hotel.
Lunch and dinner can be ordered in an excellent restaurant, which is only 250 metres away and recommended warmly. You should try various cheeses made from cow’s, sheep’s or goat’s milk, some of them cooked in oil. A typical beverage is the home-made brandy Sljivovica, also produced by the hotel owners according to a traditional recipe.
There are many walking and resting possibilities in the vicinity and a cycling path. The staff of House Janja is always happy to provide you with any guides and information about the national park and the area.

2.restaurant and grocery stores within 8-10 minute walk
3.10 minute drive from the primary attraction of the area (Plitvuce NP)
4.very hospitable hostess -was kind enought to drop/pick up our family from the park (although the bus stop is across,services are quite erratic we found out). Nice place, very close to Plitvice Park. Small room and bathroom, but we are stay only one nigth.

Very good staff. We are very pleased. It was good chois for our trip to the Plitvička jezera.
1.1 bathroom to be shared by 2 rooms on the 1st floor could be a factor with individual groups -for us it was no issue since we had both rooms.
2.The bus services and timings have to be really researched and answered by someone in the know,since we didn't find them following published schedules- we ultimately took a full taxi to Karlovac for our onward journey to Rijeka for 400 kunas- however this is no dis credit to the property :).
Hot water stopped after half of us bathe.
