Our host was extremely charming and helpful. The apartment is of a very high quality, both the furnishings and decor and is ideally situated fro visiting Trogir and the old town. Top floor apartment has 2 double bedrooms, is beautifully furnished, spacious and quiet, aircon in every area. Large balcony faces the water, secure parking. The service was excellent on arrival. Easy 300m walk to a pebble beach with a cafe, old Trogir and the food market or nearest supermarket. We loved that it is set away from the car chaos of getting on/off the island of Ciovo. We took the boat taxis to other beaches.

Where do I start..... From the owners texting us to find out our arrival time, so they could come and pick us up and take us to the Villa. On arrival we were greeted with some home made wine and a very relaxed approach to checking in and payment (which is refreshing after my experience of a lot of other countries. The customer service at Hotel Marul was superb. The receptionists were very welcoming when we came in, showed us around the hotel and shared insights/recommendations for dinner and activities in the city. The hotel was facing the harbour with beautiful views of sailing boats from the room window.
The hotel is just across the bridge from the mainland and prices are significantly cheaper for food & drink, yet you get to the centre in 5 minute walk.
Parking was a squeeze but they accommodated us so that was a bonus.

Rooms Sandra was great! Tea the owner was a pleasure to deal with and no request was too hard. i.e extra pillows, clothes rack and making a reservation for a pedicure for my wife.
Highly recommend this accommodation and if we were to come again to Split we will definitely stay here again.
