  We just spent a week in Brela at Villa Paulina. Despite the weather being occasionally rainy as we were so early in April, it was such a lovely week, good for wandering and walking along the seafront. Villa Paulina has only been open one year. The apartments are beautiful, well finished and have an an amazing view of the bay. Brela is a small, once fishing village now tour - We liked everything about Villa Paulina although we actually stayed in Villa Lora which is just next door. Simply but beautifully furnished apartment with a balcony view which entranced us. The staff could not be more welcoming. Simple breakfast in well equipped eating area was very good. Although pool is small it was perfect for cooling dips after hard sessions of sunbathing on the comfortable loungers. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer - Brela is a perfect place to relax.

  Our stay was brief but very pleasant. The staff were friendly, treated us very well, and went out of their way to address our needs, particularly with respect to parking our car. The hotel has a central location on the seaside and therefore is conveniently close to everything. - Nice restaurant. Lovely staff. Fun Jacuzzi.

  It is a great location right in the center of town across from the beach but it is an older hotel and could use some renovation. The beds were just fair and the bathrooms were old. It was probably quite a jewel in its day but its day has passed.   This stunning boutique hotel, located a short distance from Split, was the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday in Croatia.
