  The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent, the view from my room was magnificent, the facilities were lovely and the food was tasty. It was one of the most pleasureable hotel stays of my life. I happened to be travelling alone but I believe that this would be an extremely romantic hotel for a couple.   The appartement was totally renovated. It is well equipped, it has even a DVD player. The owner furnished it very carefully. It is located in the center. Good to know, that tourists are not allowed to go into the old town by car.   The room and the host family are wonderful. Out of 10 places we stayed in Slovenia and Croatia this was the best. The view from the balcony is unbelievable. A guy sailed by our balcony in a para glider when we first arrived. The host met us at their restaurant led us to our parking helped us with our luggage and settled us into the room. Lorena and her family are just great people. - The host were so nice and friendly. Very hospitable. They bought is a round of drinks at their little cafe to welcome us. Also have great recommendation for tasty local food. Great view and very clean and comfortable room. Felt like home. What's more they gave us a bottle of local wine as a farewell gift. I would highly recommend staying here.

  The location of Bella Vista is right at the top of the steep street, right across from the Hotel Kastel. We were able to park just across the street in a parking lot. The entrance employee allowed us to drive into the castle upon showing our reservation confirmation. The apartment was just lovely. The wifi signal was strong, and the shower good. - Wow! What a great location! Motovun is the perfect place to destress away from the coast in Istria and Bella Vista is the ideal place to do it! The family could not be more welcoming, the apartments were nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable and the view from anywhere in Motovun is amazing!! Great local restaurants plus a wine/truffle plus plus plus shop attached to the apartments. Take a few days and appreciate the magic of Motovun and the comfort of Bella Vista!!
