  This was a fabulous location. The staff were amazingly helpful in recommendations and places to see. They even saved us a parking spot outside the villa. There is parking nearby also. We stayed in a renovated donkey stable that was full of character. A family run business . Breakfast was delicious ! Highly recommend this accomodation - Our hosts met us before we even got out of the taxi! Beautiful room. Quiet neighborhood in old town. Steps away from narrow streets...steps away from public park...perfect spot to enjoy Split. Delicious breakfast buffet - even local treats to go with great coffee. Pero & Katja such warm and welcoming hosts. Can't imagine any place nicer to begin a vacation on the Dalmatian Coast.

Antonia kindly met us at the port and showed us where to leave our hire car, then walked us into the Palace grounds where Villa Split is situated, on the way Antonia gave us an excellent brief history of the Palace which was invaluable as she was much more informative that the guide book we purchased. Once in our room which is perfect in every way, Antonia said "anything you need, we are here for you" which seems to be the motto for
