We felt that it offered a peaceful setting out of the centre of town, and when we were there the air felt fresher higher up as there was a slight breeze. The hostess was very friendly and the villa was attractive and clean. We were offered fresh produce from the garden and an excellent breakfast. For those unable to climb the steps, it's possible to get a cable car up from town to a short walk away from the villa

  The room is very good - clean, spacious, comfortable and cozy, equipped with everything you need. Though the bathroom is separate, it's for your private usage only and perfectly clean.   The villa was in the perfect location to enjoy the beach and the local bars and restaurants. Close to a supermarket and 5 minute walk from the bus stop to take you into the Old Town. The owner was very friendly and gave us complimentary drinks on our arrival which was a nice touch. - Nice room with a very good location near to restaurants, small ... vad folk säger » shops and just a couple of hundred meters to the beach. With bus number 6 close to the villa it was only 10 min to old town. The owner was very helpful and drove us to the main bus station when we leaved the Villa Ruza.

  Really great apartment in the heart of Dubrovnik old town. Spotless, good bathroom, really comfortable bed. We had the top room which had a great view over the old town, and, although in the heart of the town, was really quiet at night. The owner communicated with us via email in advance of our arrival, and picked us up from the airport at short n... vad folk säger » otice, this was helpful as he dropped us at the north gate therefore avoiding the stairs! - It is located right in old town, in close proximity to a lot of attractions. The city wall is 5 mins away and so were the cable cars. The rooms were newly furnished so it felt clean and modern. Both staff were very friendly and were very willing to accomodate to our needs. Excellent hotel and great value for its price!

  A wonderful setting and location just across the water from cruise terminal is the Babin Kuk area and the location is a major plus. Also the lady Jadranka is so friendly and interesting with knowledge as well as great value for the apt.   My husband and I stayed at Batala apartments for 3 nights and found it to be extremely good value in an otherwise fairly expensive city. Our double room was quite big and had an extra single bed and seating area as well. The bathroom was well appointed and the shower very very good.   The room we stayed in was gorgeous, just like being in a beach cottage. The bed was great, comfiest we slept in through all of Croatia. The room was beautifully decorated, our towels etc were changed daily (we didn't expect this for a B&B), and the room was bright, airy and clean.   The owners couldn't have been nicer. Every evening, they greeted us with fresh grapes from their arbor, and homemade wine. They were hospitable, friendly and welcoming. The view from the terrace is spectacular, and it is very tranquil there.
