  We were there in winter. It was very cold but there is a good heater in the room. The bed is home made but super large and still confortable. You can get good teas and coffees. There is a bakery very closed by. I had a lot of help to visit the area and to get shaolin kung fu class with a very nice master. He was a shaolin temple monk before. Coco,... vad folk säger » the owner is very kind and she always try to make your trip a good experience. We travel a lot and we can say it not common to meet a hotel owner who - Location is the best about this place, it is in the walking distance from the temple, and the athmosphere is pretty cool (lots of monks training everywhere). There is at least one english speaker at the hostel. Although it is inside the park area, we never bought tickets. Maybe we were lucky saying we were going to the hotel with the voucher, also there are nobody at the entrance after 6pm.
