I was looking for a hotel with historical character, reasonable prices and a convenient location. Marvel provided all of these.
The building certainly has a special historical charm, but the rooms are functionally modern.

The room was large and luxuriously furnished. Spacious bathroom which was well stocked with all the essential toiletries and restocked daily. Very comfortable bed. Well located within 15 mts walking distance to Nanjing pedestian mall. Also many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby (turn left as you come out of hotel), banks nearby (Citibank next door). Vi hade en jättetrevlig vecka i Shanghai
Vi hade närhet till allt eftersom hotellet
låg så centralt. Väldigt bra service på hotellet. Frukost likaså.
Om vi åker tillbaka till Shanghai skulle vi
med all säkerhet välja SSAW hotel -
Hade önskemål vid bokningen om att få ett rum högt upp med utsikt och fick ett rum som klart motsvarade detta.

Its a very affordable hotel, with good facilities despite the price and very warming and pleasant stay, the staff are well organise and ready to be of any assistance. - spacious and nice room, except that it has no mini-refrigerator.

this is an excellent hotel, with great service. check-in was easy. the rooms have just enouth luxury to make you feel you're in a high-class hotel, it had a nice view of city. and the rates are very affordable. breakfast was nice, it had both western and chinese food. the location is very good because it is within a walking distance from the bund river. i would definitely stay at the riverview hotel again.
