  The staff were incredible, they were great fun and really made us feel at home. The manager was very helpful and made it easy for us to plan our trips and get around with all of his advice. The great wall tour that they provided was excellent away from the touristy locations it was a great experience. The location was good just a 10minute walk from tian'anmen squa - The location is perfect, just 10 min walk away from Qianmen and Tiananmen Square, you can also find subway and bus quite easily around there. The cafe bar is really nice, good place to meet friends. Beds are pretty comfortable, I stayed in a 14 bed dorm, quite a big room, not crowded at all. The A/C works well, hot water 24 hrs, and oh! the bar opens 24 hrs as well, which is a bonus! The price is quite reasonable in Beijing, esp at central area. 4 Stars Recommend

  The location is excellent, close to Forbidden City .Tiananmen Square and short walk go to a beautiful Jingshan park. Close to the Beihai Park and bar street. Not a big hotel but practically characteristic, fresh supply of towels and beddings everyday. For the price of the hotel I think this is a value. Helpful staff - we arrived at 8 in the morning and still got a room immediately (it was cleaned quickly for us to move in). I also liked the hotel design with the open courtyard. The rooms were bright and the use of glass made the hotel seem very open and friendly.

  Good location near subway, good prices - Staff was good and generally helpfull, although the coudn't order any tickets unless you went to the travel agency that the hotel runs (same pricey tours that every tout agency in Beijing offers)

  Fantastic location, 10 walk to the Forbidden city and Tian'anmen Square. 8 minutes from 2 metro lines (Tian'anmen Square east and Wangfujing) 5 minutes walk to Wangfujing shopping strip. The staff is always very friendly and try to do everything to help you (speak English and Chinese). The thing that I really value in this hotel is cleanless. Of course, as it is based in the center of the city, near the main square there are always a lot of visitors, so it is not so new, it's rather old, but still very clean. And that's very good.   Air conditioning was poor. I was sweating with it all the way down on cold. Don't stay during the summer. Good overall design. But no ac is no good for the summer.
