  The Yuanjia apt is a great choice for those traveling with families. It has similar or lower price comparing with other 3 star hotels but you get much more space and convenience, such as in-room laundry and fully- equipped kitchen. We had a fresh water dispenser, washer/dryer (with laundry soap), small kitchen with stove and fridge. Both rooms were furnished in a similar manner--not fancy, but clean and adequate for our needs.   I can not fault it really. Excellent staff who spoke good English at the Reception, the apartment was large, stylish, open plan, very comfortable, and spotless. Perfect for couples, singles and a family - Stayed here for the fourth time this year, and it is consistently excellent and this includes the staff.

  Really like the place, real Beijing feel. - By its very nature I was immersed in the Hutong and saw how those people live on a daily basis. For one week I got to feel like a real Beijinger living in the Hutong (albeit a fancy Hutong) and see the culture in a way that is impossible for a tour group staying in a fancy hotel.   A most beatiful old historic courtyard building full of loads of character. We had a four poster bed and looked out onto the courtyard. A peaceful haven set amongst fascinating huton alley ways.
