Nice, tranquil place at the edge of town with comfortable beds. Perfect to relax. Amalia is a very welcoming host, it was like staying with a friend. She is also helpful with providing information on things to do around town and with booking trips. Good internet. Good breakfast (at additional cost). Would recommend staying here. We had a wonderful stay! Our host was uniquely caring for us. She gave us a home for our stay and organized all tours very well for us. Compared with the spreadout and growing of the city, Kasa del Rio is pretty close to the center.

Free pick-ups from San Pedro bus station are only provided for guests staying 2 nights or more and between 09:00 and 21:00 hours. Based on local tax laws, Chilean citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Chile) must pay an additional fee of 19%. Please note that for tax exemption travellers must pay in US dollars and have to present the migration card they are given when they arrive to the country. Foreign business travellers, who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 19% regardless of the length of their stay in Chile. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation. A deposit via bank wire is required to secure reservations. The property will contact guests at least two times, after bookings are made, to provide bank wire instructions.
