  GREAT value for your money. I couldn't believe how spacious the room was for the money I was paying. - The rooms themselves were excellent - very clean, well kept, and everything worked.

  What a classic! I loved it and felt that I was a part of the real Victoria that many never see. The quiet location within walking distance of the downtown and transit to the rest of town was great. The staff did not fall all over us which to me is more comfortable than being fussed over. They were pleasant, helpful and unobtrusive. This gave me a chance to walk down the wonderful staircase admire th - Firstly, one needs to compare the day rate between the Empress and the Inn. The Empress is only a few blocks away, free parking, free wi-fi, also doesn't have air conditioning....and is almost $300 more a day. As I didn't need to spend a lot of time in my room, the size didn't matter. However, security and cleanliness was key and the Inn met those very well. The restaurant is excellent.
