Our room on the third floor was enormous and very well equipped. It looked like it had been recently refurbished with a pleasant colour scheme of browns, creams and coffee colours. The location is perfect. It's close to the Inner Harbour, BC Parliament Building and the famous Fairmount Empress. Walking less than five minutes, you will be at the coast. The Douglas Street, which is the street that Helm's Inn is on, has tons of restaurants, convenient stores and shops. You can easily walk a restaurant and grab something to eat. Friendly service. Requested items promptly supplied. Building is older wood construction, but room was clean. Bathroom was newly refurbished and clean. Free wifi worked well. Starbucks is around the corner. Dennys and at least 2 other restaurants are within 2 blocks. Close to bus stops, but located on a quiet street - no traffic noise at night. Owners very helpful.

I had a nice little 4 room suite for less than $100!!! That is good
value! There was a living room with cable tv, a small kitchenette with
fridge, stove, and utensils (including a real cast-iron frying pan!),

We were a group of 14 people staying in this motel for one night. Everyone in the group was satisfied for the amount we paid. Despite some of the reviews we read before saying that there's a bad smell around, non of us had such an experience. Maybe we were lucky, or the problem has been solved somehow. Choose this motel if you can't afford a luxury hotel, yet you want a clean place to stay at for some nights. Cheers, Mahyad

Staff was very helpful and friendly. We had reserved a suite and got more than expected: three bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room. We were three adults, one 9 year old and one thirteen year old, so it worked well for us. It is an easy 15 min. out of the city of Victoria, with a grocery 2 min. away, so was convenient for us. Good place for a multiple night stay. Highly recommend it.

If you are only staying in the hotel to sleep, it is great! - I loved the hotel -- We were given an upgrade to two one-bedroom suits, which were lovely and very comfortable. We left out dog in our hotel room and went for dinner. She managed to
get out of the room. Staff was amazing about helping us locate her,
which we did. In fact, they went above and beyond their duties. People

Last year I stayed at a B&B and we paid $250 a night and I didn't like the breakfast or the room. I stayed sept 7 one night at Super 8 and I liked it, the room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great. I really enjoyed my time here....I would definitely stay at another Super 8 again. -
