The staff were all nice, friendly and extremely helpful. It was always clean and quiet. I didn't even mind that their wasn't any room service. I liked that their were 4 bus stops right outside and a variety of restaurants and stores. I had read some reviews before going and people made comments like "...outdated tv's..." but when I got to my room

Staff were friendly and helpful over the whole 3 night stay, both on the reception desk and in the breakfast room. Price was good and the room was pleasant. Housekeeping staff did a good job and were friendly when we encountered them in the corridors.Several eating places nearby (Pho Don Vietnamese restaurant was the one we used) and a pleasant Starbucks.

We had a separate bedroom suite with a king size bed, and there was a pull-out couch in the living room. For the room and the location of the hotel the price couldn't be beat for downtown Vancouver. Great location with easy walk to the stunning Stanley Park, English bay
beach is just a few minutes walk and you can join in with all the
Canadians out walking, jogging, riding bike (plenty available to rent).
Granville island markets are accessible too from a close by ferry for
$3.50 and buses no 5 and 6 to downtown stop outside the door. For $2.75
we caught the no 6 bus to the sky train that took us out to the airport
in 45 mins. Saved heaps in taxi fairs and was easy. Great affordable
place

The breakfast I had included juice, coffee and a full breakfast for around eleven dollars - a good deal - especially when you are afforded a window seat with a great view of English Bay.

We were on an organized bike ride from Seattle to Vancouver so we had three bikes with lots of gear. It was tremendously convenient to be able to keep the bikes in storage. The bikes were tagged with tickets which added to our piece of mind that they were secure. The staff was Amazing - Professional, Capable, Courteous. - the free drop off shuttle

I've stayed here before.
The shuttle driver was friendly.....one note for future customers....the shuttle won't pick you up until you call. The people at the desk were great too!
I LOVE the fact that WHITE SPOT is in this hotel! Couldn't have asked for better service!! (Or food!!)

It was remarkably quiet despite the location. Shops, Laundrette, buses
and train were fairly close, so easy to get around the city. The staff
were great, as they hadn't received the booking from letsbookhotel.com yet
they still sent the shuttle driver to collect us from the airport (it
was midnight), and they were totally booked out. While we were there a
cancellation came through and they gave us the room.

Staff were friendly and helpful and remembered our names as we left and re-entered the Hotel. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the walk-in shower was excellent. The food was very good at the Grill room and breakfast, we had not realised that breakfast was included in the tariff and was very much appreciated..All services provided were very much appreciated and the Hotel was well situated for walking to places of interest and to Public transport. Every thing. Easy 5 minutes to train or a nice 1/2hr walk to Downtown. Beautiful walk along the sea wall to Granville Island and it's markets. Shopping and eateries to suit all budgets close at hand.
The staff were superb. From the time we arrived until we checked out they could not have been more courteous or helpful and friendly.

The Holiday Inn Vancouver-Centre Broadway offers a clean, functional hotel for travelers to Vancouver who are seeking a reasonably priced, in-town location and who do not need to stay in the more fashionable and expensive West End of Vancouver. The hotel has a pleasant bar and a serviceable eatery and is adjacent to multiple restaurants (particularly offering various Asian cuisines). The staff is very friendly.

I was in awe about the Jericho Beach location and the quiet location of the hostel. Spent lots of time in Vancouver and never experienced such a perfect location in terms of price, bus connections to downtown and friendly ness. -
Washrooms are good, staff is the best I've ever met, big kittchen, good wifi almost everywhere.
