This was a great hotel. I was upgraded to one of the deluxe suites when I arrived. The hotel is quiet, well appointed and the staff were very helpful. I was even able to get a late check-out. The hotel itself was beautiful with a charming room with a fireplace that had the elegance of a posh hotel but the lovely aroma of a cabin. The valet's were amazing and were so helpful - even lending an umbrella when we went out an outting! -

The room was very modern and clean. I always worry about the language issue when travelling in Quebec however between their broken english and my basic french, I had all my questions answered and no problems with anything. Surprisingly, this was a very nice room. -

Exceptional staff. I had issues with my Visa card and front desk spent 2 hours trying to help me . And always with a smile , very personal and humane.
We stayed the first week of August, so we were able to use a pool too. Nice , clean and entertaining for kids .

We like the location next to the restaurants of the Grande Allée, walking distance from the old Québec. We like the standard room which was spacious enough for us. The bed was super confortable. The bathroom was big too.

I find all hotel prices excessive for what amounts to a 12 hour stay. There is a current effort to recover the Grand Prix for Montreal. The news reports have it that the city gets $100's of millions for the week with hoteliers getting $500 per night.
