  I was travelling with friends (we had 3 rooms) to see the Moncton Wildcats play Shawinigan. We ate at the restuarant 3 times.   First stay at this hotel, that I find the hotel to be very nice. Usually, I went there only for the location, but this time, I was given an upgrade and the room was very nice. The shower in it was big enough to have a party. I liked my stay there more then ever before.   We always enjoy our stays at this hotel and we always make it a point to stop and stay there whenever possible. Also we just love the Bistro and the perfectly prepared roast beek au jus.   We were travelling from Fredericton NB to Kitchener ON and needed an overnight stop half way that would accept our cats. The weather was terrible during the long drive and the cats complained so we were thankful for the peace and comfort.   The history and architecture of the building was amazing. The building was a lovely mix of historic features and modern amenities. The location is unbeatable. The complim... vad folk säger » entary room upgrade was a lovely surprise and made the stay that much more memorable. - I loved being in a historical building and yet all modern amenities were at my fingertips I liked having a valet because parking was an issue and understandably so in such a rich historical city. .Most importantly, the hostess unexpectedly, upgraded our room to the loft and I thought I was in heaven. I have never stayed in such a luxurious suite. I didn't want to get out of the bed in the morning. Merci bien!

  A very interesting and great value for the money hotel. Rooms were fine and our room had a beautiful view of the St Lawrence. Restaurant was very good. We bought the package meal deal of supper plus breakfast plus tips. The manager at the front desk was incredibly professional and helpful. The next day his replacement was equally so.   Very nice pool. The staff were exceptionally helpful - they were very patient with my moderate ability in French, and they were very courteous and helpful. - Loved the no rugs- for kids with environmental allergies this is a great idea and really appreciated. Very clean, quiet and welcoming.

  Staff was really friendly and accommodated our special request that other chain hotels sometimes don't. They gave us a room with lake view upon asking. Location was fabulous, we ended up staying twice as long as we had planned to. - -very nice hotel -very nice room -very nice location with view on the lake -quiet and peaceful feeling
