First room he gave us had a plugged bathroom sink, he immediately moved us to another similar room, and had the first one fixed that same afternoon. - Loved having two separate bedrooms.   Front desk staff were very efficient and helpful, they even offered to help me carry my stuff up to the 2nd floor as the elevator doesn't service the 2nd floor. The room was updated and had nice bedding and pillows, the bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean and the room suited my needs. I had been outside all day in pretty hot temperatures when I checked in, there was a cooler full of iced water with li - Staff were pleasant. We were able to check in early and go for a long bike ride prior to actual check in time. Parking lot was clean (other than renovation furnishings), check in/out staff were helpful, and location was very central for our purposes.

  After booking and receiving confirmation, we finally arrived in the evening hours of July 31, 2013. Initially, we were made aware, that the hotel was fully booked out, but the friendly hotel staff was searching for an alternative for one night. This alternative turned out to be an extraordinary experience in one of the Middle Beach Lodges. For the remainder of our stay, the extremely friendly mana - The hotel is well located, close to Tofino, but on the park side of it. A handy feature is that the hotel includes boat tours at a discount for whale-watching and to the hot springs, which was advantageously priced for customers. The room itself was more than a room, but really a suite, equipped with a king-sized bed. There was a stove, and a fridge, and a little porch where one could eat.   We booked a one bedroom suite which was perfect. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was very well equipped for 4 people including pots and pans, toaster and electric kettle, microwave and stove. Nice towels in the bathroom which were changed every day and good toiletries. The bed was very comfortable with nice quality linen.   I liked the layout of the room. The room was clean. I liked the bed. It was just right - not too firm, not too soft. I liked that there wasn't an old bedspread on top. I liked the continental breakfast downstairs. I liked how clean the area was and the simple choices. The coffee was really good.   What didn't I like????It was so clean you could eat off the floors not that you would want to. Very nice and comfortable, modern, had a kitchen with all the dishes,everything was spotless. Quiet.   Great and Helpful Staff. Very close to the water and in the core of Tofino. It was the perfect location for my stay (attending a local wedding 5mins away). Room was very clean. Price was very fair given the location (co-op food store is right across the street, water and pier are half block away, bank on corner, post office on adjacent corner,... vad folk säger » liquor store is right behind the hotel, many great restaurants all within a 5min walk). Coffee is on from 0800hrs to 1100hrs daily. Schooner Pub is - We arrived very late - 11-45pm. The office had closed at 8-30pm and so we were unable to check in. However, the keys to our room were left for us to collect. Very good service.

  The owners/staff were awesome - I walked in and she already had my paperwork in her hands, though we were not expected for several hours and the hotel was fully booked. The room was clean and comfortable, and there is a very nice little courtyard to relax in while enjoying the free (and good) coffee.
