Afterwards we stayed for 3 nights at Hyatt Regency and it really wasn't up to L'Hermitage standards, although more expensive. We had a two night stay in the Garden Chalet and it was truly amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful. The chalet was comfortable and clean, with a lovely hot tub and beautiful mountain views. CedarHouse Chalet is an amazing place to take time out and just relax and the views are spectacular. We stayed in the Green Chalet and had plenty of room for 5 adults. The hot tub and bath robes were a bonus and the Chalet was well equipped - everything we needed was provided and Darrin made us feel very welcome. A great stopover on a 2 week visit to Canada. Tom and Marla are the best host and hostess we have ever had.We arrived in our 1928 Model A for fishing and a car show and Tom voluntiered to drive us to the marina at 5:15 am because he did not feel comfortable with us leaving the car at the marina.and then let me wash it sunday morning by his garage..We will go back for our next trip. -

The Summit is in a great location in the Upper Village, but is set
behind most of the shops/bars/restaurants, so it's nice and
quiet. There's a Starbucks about a 30 second walk from the lobby
doors, which then leads right into the Olympic Park (cool for kids) and
then right there is the Upper Village, with all the shops and bars you
would want. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to the ski
hills/gondolas, but if you're just going up to enjoy Whistler
for a few nights, this is a great location. The

Beautiful Hotel, suitable for families and couples, beautiful spacious rooms and well-equipped, large bedroom, huge and comfortable bed. Amazing view of the mountain from the seventh floor where we slept. Great location in the village within minutes you can reach restaurants, shopping, the gondola is just a step from the hotel, Professional and friendly staff gave us a response to every question and every need. We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the bar staff were great and even made me a hot citrus drink at no charge when I exclaimed that I was unwell and unable to have an alcoholic beverage. The location was very centralised to all that we needed to do in Victoria. The facilities are lovely. Everything is provided for you except food, drink and your own personal items (clothes, etc). Great heated pool open until 11 PM. 2 hot tubs one adult only. Underground parking facilities with elevators. Easy, short drive to Whistler. Very family friendly, we traveled with children 4 and 8, parents and us, grandparents.
