Five of us ladies headed up to Vancouver for the weekend for the Caribbean Festival and we had a blast. The hotel was perfect as it was affordable and close to everything there is even a Wal-Mart right around the corner along with Wendy's across the street and Starbucks right up the street. This place was just all access to everything we needed and only 15 min from North Vancouver.

Arrived early and called in, got some good tourist information from
staff as we were unable to register (much too early!!) The motel is
older but great value for money, we were given a choice of upper or
lower level. Having two large suitcases, I loved not having to carry

The staff were super friendly and very accommodating. We had our 13 year old yellow Lab with us and the staff were very attentive and kind to her. The room was super clean, and comfortable. The breakfast had lots of choice and the food was really good. The cinnamon buns were great! We would choose to stay here again. Also enjoyed the river walkway

When we checked in the lady behind the desk was very nice. We got some
discount coupons as well (including 15% off Whitespot). There was a
decent size pool and a waterslide which my four year old loved. The Hot
tub and pool and area were all really clean which is often so rare. The
room was quiet and clean and the breakfast was actually quite tasty!

Everything! Property was absolutely clean, with full amenities provided for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was great, particularly loved the freshly made waffles! I loved the laminate floors, and the room was very clean and soundproof as I have a hearing problem and checked with my neighbours to make sure they could not hear the TV and they could not. .The fact that the lake was across the road and a variety of restaurants close by, make it special. The owner is amazing and very knowledgeable about the area and made me feel right at home.

We left out dog in our hotel room and went for dinner. She managed to
get out of the room. Staff was amazing about helping us locate her,
which we did. In fact, they went above and beyond their duties. People
like this give faith back in the kindness of others. -
