  I can say that It is an authentic hotel fairmont network. The location (Lake Louise) is amazing. Very special place, a natural beauty unmatched. The room is prety good, with king superconfortavel bed. The hotel staff are super attentive, impeccable service. The food is very good, with great variety. If you've already plan to spend big money to stay in this hotel, I suggest you spend extra 100 to get a room with lake view. It's totally worth it.   The hotel staff were very friendly and provided a lot of information on the resort upon check-in. The two bedroom sweet was ideal for us and was extremely clean and the kitchen was equipted with all the essential appliances and accessories to cook just about any meal.   The location was excellent, only a short walk to the downtown area. The room was a standard 2 queen beds, 2 chairs and a table but it was bigger than a standard room. Very comfortable and there was even a tiny balcony.   We enjoyed our stay very much. This hotel is pet friendly (with no size restriction - we have a 100 lbs dog) which is hard to find ($25 extra per night - standard rate for having a pet). Units are clean and fairly roomy. You can have up to 6 people for the same cost, which is great (2 bedroom townhouses so 2 people would have to use the pullout co... vad folk säger » uch in this case). The units are fairly dated so if you're looking for new televisions, appliances, etc then this isn't for you. They have appliances - We happened to be stranded in the inn during the recent flooding in Alberta, roads leading to and from Harvie Heights were blocked and water supply to the lodge was cut. The manager Paul was so kind to provide us with bottled water and kept us informed of the situation of the floodings and the road conditions continously. When the road going into Canmore was finally reopened, he volunteered to look for us alternatibe accommodation with water supply. He even reduced the room rate to compens

  Great place for family, facilities make kids happy and parents are allowed to have some rest. Lots of families are staying in this quiet place. On the 2nd floor we had a better view on the mountains unlike the first stay on the 1rst. Rooms are large enough to allow a long stay. Kitchen is well equipped and perfectly cleaned. We received a welcom - Good location with a lovely view, property was fairly new and very spacious.   The room was very large, clean and cozy. The room had a fridge, two comfortable chairs and a dining table, which we could use for snack or breakfast, a very large desk and a chair, which we could use for a computer. We appreciated that they kept extra blankets in the drawers because we prefer to sleep with extra blankets in lower room temperatu... vad folk säger » re. The room was warm - the air conditioning was very powerful and it warmed the room almost instantly. The staff was great - a few days before our - Great hotel! Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, kitchen, microwave... We've stayed at other places in Banff, and liked Irwin's the best. Most of the other places felt more like overpriced motel rooms, while Irwin's felt like a nice hotel. We got a great last minute deal on a room, and were pleasantly surprised by what a nice place it was. Also, pet fee was only $10.

  We had to cancel our original two nights hotel booking in Banff due to the Hwy 1 road closure caused by the disastrous flooding. We had to change our itinerary and travel through Red Deer to get to Jasper/Banff. We were so glad that we booked into The Hidden Ridge Resort instead (the hotel previously booked and cancelled didn't have a vacancy on t... vad folk säger » he new dates)! A beautiful mountain cottage/chalet setting with a stunning view, a spacious and very well equipped one bedroom apartment was a nice ch - The view from the hot tub and warm pool. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The condo was lovely too! The kitchenette was a great thing to have to cook our own food and the BBQ was very nice to use. The inexpensive long distance phone fee was awesome as was the free parking and free shuttle bus into Banff (not to mention the free coffee and hot chocolate in the lounge/lobby all day)

  Value for money was good with nil significant concerns about the hotel's quality, service or appearance. Only hotel that had generator power when the Banff town power station went out due flooding. - -the staff was friendly -easy to park -nice breakfast (outside tables also available) -not on busy avenue, so not much noise around
