  Room was excellent, hotal was tidy, centrally located - The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was incredibly small and whatever was there did not last for the guest arriving later.

  Location was perfect for my needs - I could walk to pretty much everywhere I wanted to go; staff were very helpful and the bar downstairs had a great atmosphere and awesome music! The tours organised by the hostel were really good - I learnt a lot about the area and it was a great way to meet people. - The staff is really nice, all good guys both... vad folk säger » at the reception and the bar. Everybody is willing to help and to chat, I had a great time! The position is also awesome, the metro station is within a stone's throw from the hostel and the nearby area is good for clubbing at night.

  I loved the entire stay! Exceeded all my expectations. Great location, excellent worth for its price. Staff was friendly and helpful - offered to store my luggage even after checking out so I could enjoy the city before my late-night bus ride. Breakfast was free and food restocked timely. Felt like a home away from home. - Their services for a hostel are excellent and I prefer them to a hotel which is overpriced or noisy and people have done who knows what in your hotel room bed but with this hostel you know they launder the sheets/bedding and the space is eclectic - like your a student again.   The great staff provided clean rooms, toilets and showers. Awesome atmosphere with people of all ages who prepared food together. Can really tell the owner cares about guests.   The owner was very friendly, the amenities were more than expected for the price we paid (including the better-than-average breakfast, the cleaning service, the fact that you get a code to come in at any time unlike in most hostels which are MORE expensive than this place, etc). The location was also a huge plus and they do have cheap parking ($8/... vad folk säger » day) within walking distance. In the end - if we were doing another budget trip to Montreal, we would definitely return. - The location was excellent, allowing us to park up the car and walk everywhere we wanted to go (yes we can walk quite a few km without issue). The addition of bathrobes in the closet to allow easy visits to the shared bathroom were a very welcome touch.

  I liked a lot the downtown location next to Concordia Unversity and the fact I could walk to nearby Crescent street bars and nightclubs. Dorm room and bed were clean, shared bathroom was ok too. Plus a free basic breakfast, excellent value, cheaper than a taxi ride home. - The staff at Bishop are grand. Moreover, the beds were very comfortable, so was the bedding. The rooms were well kept.

  For the most part, the staff were very helpful and welcoming. I was booked under the wrong name but the staff on duty promptly fixed that error and helped me check in. The staff member that I mention below then showed me to the room I was staying in and answered all my questions well. The other guests in the room were very quiet. It was a ten bed ... vad folk säger » room, and it reminded me of being at summer camp (which is a good thing). I was very happy with my experience and I would definitely do it again! - The French staff is amazing! We hang out with some of them, they advice good places!
