I can't say enough good things about Gite Kezako. The hostess, Marianne, was fabulous. The B&B is in a house that has been completely renovated within the past year. The renovations are very well done and the entire facility is tastefully decorated. The rooms might might best be described an European modern with very good looking European design fixtures in the bathroom. The breakfast was a custom cooked meal (not a continental breakfast) served in a breakfast room with windows on thre.
alla recensioner » The place is newly renovated and tastefully done in a modern eclectic style in an older home. It has deck surrounding the house and a great view of the river and Quebec City. Our host was very cool, rooms attractive, bathroom was great, loved the shower! Minor reno details are still being taken care of at this time outside of the rooms, but don't let that stop you from booking! A walk away from the ferry to QCity, the B&B is in old Levis --great location. The price was right, and the food s. Marie-Helene has a beautifully renovated gite! The location is really nice, at the breakfast table you have a terrific view over the Quebec city. In the street of the gite there are some good restaurants and an ice-creamshop you really should try. The rooms are large, newly decorated and clean. Breakfast is absolutely delicious, Marie-Helene provides something healthy, something sweet,.. everyday something else which was really nice. I would definitely recommend other people to stay here. Extraordinarily friendly experience!!! Chateau Frontenac could be viewed from our bedroom. Newly refurbished house-nice appointments. Marie Helene was a very special person! Her breakfasts were very good! Walking distance to ferry to Quebec City. Traveling across the river was fun and quick. Steep stairs, but a taxi is also possible. No parking fees and a short walk to the river for a lovely 10 minute ferry ride to Old Quebec. Modern, tastefully decorated and well equipped room. Gite Kezako in Levis is the perfect location , a ferry ride away from the crowds in Old Quebec and on the main street of Old Levis where shops and restaurants are located. The stairs to the ferry are a bit steep for elder people, but you can park a car at the ferry also or take a taxi (it's not far at all) so that should be no problem. :-). Nothing-it was wonderful experience!. Having to leave. We had to pay cash but there's an ATM around the corner. We could find no fault it was great. We were visiting Quebec and using the ferry to get back and forth. The stairs from the ferry up to the main street where the gite is located are steep for seniors. However, taxis are always at the ferry terminal and the ride costs only 5 or six dollars. So, no real problem. Over steps to climb down and up when you use the ferry to Quebec City. nothing.
