Surrounded by 6 mountain ranges, A Bear and Bison Country Inn is just 5 km from Banff National Park. With free WiFi and an LCD TV, all rooms have a fireplace and mountain view from either a balcony or a patio. Many rooms have an in-room spa bath. Each comes with a tea/coffee maker. A 3-course breakfast is carefully prepared from local seasonal produce and available upon request with surcharge. Specialities of the house include raspberry and white chocolate scones, Swiss-style rosti potato, organic free range eggs and fruit crepes. Breakfast can be served in the guest room upon request. It is a 45 minute drive to Lake Louise.

The owner and his staff were excellent and we felt very welcome there and a part of. The place was spotless and everything was in great order we would recommend a stay there to everyone and will return hopefully next year with my husbands mom and step dad. The owner takes pride in his facility and ist shows! We just want to say thank you for the great mini break!!. Everything was absolutely amazing. We found it very quaint and homey and extremely quiet. The breakfast was absolutely to die for, it was so delicious!!! I would recommend it to everyone and we are already planning on when we want to come back. Thank you so much for a wonderful get away.
alla recensioner » Had to talk to 3 staff members, all gave amazing service and made you feel like they actually care about you. Room was very clean and furniture was antique. Walk out patio. Breakfast was great but not for someone on a diet. The room was very comfortable and the staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. When the weather turned bad and the highways were being closed they made a generous offer for us to stay another night. The room was great and the staff friendly and helpful. Love the bath with a mountain view ( would be nice to have sheer curtains so you could have privacy without blocking out the sunlight. ). Staff and room were extremely welcoming, friendly and cozy. Dave and Jared made great gourmet breakfasts which were quite reasonably priced. Gave us ideas on what to see and do. Very comfortable room, staff very friendly my wife rated breakfast a10 I like a more traditional breakfast. They cleared the snow off the car nice touch. We enjoyed the Inn. I would have preferred more choices for breakfast. Spa tub in the room was a little weird for us (in our 60's) and we had trouble figuring out how to turn on the shower. They got flooded a week later! Very sad. Needs a entrance sign. Showers are tight. The inn was not as secluded or as far out of town as the photos suggest. It seemed as though the rest of the town had recently sprouted up around the inn. Construction right outside the inn. No complaints. Breakfast wasn't to my liking as everything was sweet from the bundt cake to fruit (good but sweet) to the pancakes in syrup. If you prefer something savory for breakfast, as I do, let them know in advance. When I gave the hotel my feedback about this when checking out, they did refund the charge for my breakfast (which was $15 per person), which I did not eat.
