Excellent reception staff, very helpful and efficient. Particular thanks for helping us with flight check-in. High quality linen, towels and furniture. Tea & coffee facilities in room. Nice artwork throughout the hotel. Lovely and quiet stay despite the hotel being fully booked. Meal in the Raw Bar excellent and drinks at the Yellow Door fabulous. Only a short walk into town making it ideal location for us. Very good place to stay.alla recensioner
I love the dark tones of this hotel room and the large standing shower (no tub) with the "rain" style faucet was perfect. The staff were completely awesome, friendly and helpful. I hear they'll be starting some renovations sometime within the next year too and I would most definetly stay here again, with or without the reno's. Terrific experience!.
Room was spacious, luxurious comfortable and had a fantastic view.
Staff at front desk and bar were attentive and very helpful.
Location was ideal.
Reservations were very accommodating to ensure our stay was a special one.
Hotel arts was a perfect 10. We will come again.
I loved this hotel, so unique and so welcoming. Underground parking, super comfy bed, location was awesome we walked everywhere and best of all no booking fees and super affordable:) won't stay anywhere else when I come to Calgary!! LOVED IT!! Thanks so much.
The city of Calgary flooded that weekend so my review is incomplete. We
had to evacuate the hotel after 2 days. The hotel did put out food and
water even though the power was out. They drove people to the airport so
they definitely went the extra mile!.
Location was perfect as we were in Calgary to attend the Stampede. It's a very comfortable hotel with great amenities. The food in the restaurant (Yellow Door, I think) is superb. Staff were very pleasant. Overall, a good place to stay in Calgary.
Located downtown,easy walk to
the Telus Conference Centre. Beautifully decorated, clean and friendly.Vegan friendly Raw-bar
and a classy bistro style restaurant on the main level.I loved the great view of the city from the balcony.
Extremely responsive staff, especially on Friday in preparation for Evacuation of hotel (June 21). Calm and professional. One staff went above and beyond to drive two guests to airport at 6:45 am! (Female, blonde hair - Karley?).
The room I stayed in was awesome. Very clean, spacious, modern and had an impressive view. The atmosphere is young and energetic without being rowdy. Staff were very friendly.
The food in the Bistro was excellent. The service at dinner was excellent but was rather absent at breakfast.
Great location and staff generally very good. Liked the decor.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was great for walking access to downtown activities. The Yellow Door had a fantastic breakfast buffet.
Very clean, modern, and nice!
Safe, secure parking garage.
Great bar/restaurant and poolside service/activities.
Place was hopping over the weekend!!.
The bed in the room was very comfortable. The view with Balcony
access was great. The Valet were awesome and were very quick when
needing my Car.
further to the excellent ratings above we found the hotel a pleasant surprise. We paid $130 incl tax which was extremely reasonable.
Well appointed, funky, decorated with art (surprise!), and great outside poolside restaurant not expected in a city hotel.
Seemed like a beautiful hotel, with a cafe and restaurant bar off of the lobby, and good location to convention centre.
Great location as we were going to the Stampede, but also very local to central attractions, bars and restaurants.
Booking through you provided a great price to stay in a hotel I might not have otherwise chosen.
Loved the vibe.
Design and modern feel
Restaurants were excellent
Great price for the location 3 block from downtown.
Comforable, Great and acccomdating staff, bikes available, great breakfasts, easy walk to all sites.

Location was awesome and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Loved the art and 'feel' of the hotel!.
Easy acces
Nice room
Reasonable price.
pet friendly, clean and comfortable.
Comfortable Beds , Quiet rooms.
This hotel has great ambience.
Food, room design and layout.
Not really a huge issue, but our coffee/tea station didn't get restocked so I was only able to have a coffee the first morning that I was there.
It also would've been nice to have a full size mirror in the room. Two guys trying to get dressed for a wedding and having to try to share the lone bathroom sink mirror and using the reflection off the tv screen was a bit difficult.
The air conditioning is a bit noisy. While our room had a small balcony, we were on the fourth floor overlooking the entrance to the hotel, so it was too noisy to leave the door to the balcony open. Next time I would ask for a room at the back of the building, perhaps overlooking the pool area which was very nice.
Air conditioner in the room -it is a bit noisy.
No back up power or batteries - ie could not use phone or clock radio once power went out. Unable to see in bathroom - no emergency lighting in room. But as daylight, could see in main room.
N/A.
Noisy air-con outside (at the rear of builing). No bright central light in bedroom.
Since the hotel is downtown, there was noise during the night. That can't be helped.
Card keys for elevators were a pain, but understand for security.
Did not like paying for parking.
The pillows in the King Luxury suite are far too small for the size of
the bed. Would have been nice to have complimentary bottles of water in
the room. The shower pressure needs to be increased and the water
temperature was not consistent. I also did not agree with taking $100
security deposit per night. I could see $100 security deposit for your
stay but per night was a bit excessive.
the air conditioner in our room (701) was a little loud.
The Calgary flood caused a power outage, hotel flooding, and evacuation of the hotel, and forced me to leave after the first night.
The swimming pool is more akin to a plunge pool and the pictures made it look very large.
Also, they close the area due to corporate functions, so we were unable to use the outdoors on occasions. However, there is a lot of places to eat locally.
Good noise insulation from outside, but not from inside hallways.
parking garage access, having to use another elevator.
Bedside lamp not plugged in, I asked for extension lead so that this could be quickly resolved. Small matter, but it was just delivered to room and left out. When I went to plug everything in, was very fiddly behind the headboard and the curtain there which was really dusty and hiding holes in the wall! No full length mirror, had to get into my wedding dress without being able to see full effect until I got to venue.
Rooms too dark - no in ceiling lighting and lamps not bright enough.
It was very noisy on the street below, not a great location. I did not
like that I was charged to park.
No shower gel, just bar soap. Enormous mirror next to bed.
No guest laundry.
No small fridge in room.
Room card difficulty in elevator.
No access to pool from elevator area to pool, had to walk through restaurant corridor, not comfortable doing that.
Your seafood bouillabaisse was too fishy....the mussels tasted old, disappointing .the flatbread was fabulous, wines nice.
Traffic noise
Loud ac/heater.
when i search the booking .com it showed the room availible at or around $134.00 per night. when i checked out it was $206.00 a night. .
Would have liked to have seen a more casual restaurant on the property.
Nothing.
Although the staff was very helpful, we never did get the wine glasses we asked for.
not enough light.
fee for internet $10 a day which they waived but only when I left the hotel and asked. I stopped using the internet in my hotel because of the fee.
Construction was going on a few floors above me which was a problem during the day especially since I arrived tired and wanted a nap.
service in the breakfast restaurant was very slow.
nothing.
No computer in the lobby for public use (guests). I am up at 5:00 and need to do email.
Pay for parking and pay for wifi. Stairs to elevator to get to parkade a challenge with luggage.
No FREE wifi and No FREE parking.
I think there is kind of gabarge dump under the hotel. it makes too much noise When I wasnot completely taired, I couldn not sleep all night.
Even I close the window, it was not helpful.
I had a hard time finding the ice bin at first. Having an info sheet of where things are would be greatly appreciated for future reference!.
The fan for the heating/cooling system could be quieter.
not sound proof, no fridge in room.
poor lighting in Rooms , only bedside and desklamp + entry light. Difficult to pack clothes, pick clothes. Need hooks in bathroom for towels and clothes.
The pool area is open to the public and was full of young people partying and celebrating (stagettes etc). There was a DJ and it was very loud and not conducive at all to a leisurely lie by the pool which we had planned.
Internet was not free when even the worst places I've stayed in offer it at no charge.
By the time you check out, each day has an extra 14 dollars of charges due to tourism levies and taxes not mentioned upon initial booking.
