  One of the quietest rooms I have ever stayed in. Great beds and very spacious. I will stay again for a late arrival into Ottawa as the price was less yet a better hotel than the others that I have stayed at in the past. - very helpful staff, check in was quick!   whoever makes the beds needs a raise because I've stayed at alot of hotels and have rarely seen that much work and detail given to making a bed - which really is the heart of a room - Nice place to stay. Clean. Breakfast selection was awesome. Food was great Would stay again

  Having stayed at the Southway a half dozen times in the last ten years, this visit was the best by far--perhaps it has something to do with the change of ownership?? The reception staff were excellent: getting me a coffee while I waited to check-in (the system was down) and then giving me 10% discount vouchers. The same ready and pleasant service ... vad folk säger » was also in evidence in the Restaurant=a vast difference of attitude from what I experienced on my stay last November. Ditto for the room; no chipped - I liked the clean homey atmosphere of the hotel and also the fact that it is only a 5 min drive to the Casino and race track. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the Shallows restaurant --- got an upgrade during the current renovations and appreciated that very much.

  The hotel was very easy to access and very close to the airport. We travel a lot and I have to say it was probably the cleanest room I have slept in. It had a fresh smell as soon as we walked in.It is definitely a 5 star with 3 star price. Breakfast was definitely amble with lots of choice. We will definitely stay there again and will certainly re... vad folk säger » commend it to our friends. - It's a very economical place to stay when we visit Ottawa and it makes an ideal base because it's easy to get downtown or to the West end. It's always very clean and comfortable. The room we had this time was quite large.We also appreciate the breakfast and a newspaper first thing in the morning and we were always greeted in a friendly manner. We have made two visits.

  I had to be located near the hospital during a bad snow storm. The Residence Inn fit the bill perfectly. Lovely room, very comfortable, accommodating staff. Breakfast was very good, not your usual hotel breakfast. I will be staying there again! Wonderful hotel!
