  We liked the bed ,the bathroom, the pool , the breakfast and dinner , the dining rooms,the service , the staff ,and the welcoming reception - Staff very professional and friendly. Great pool area and gym facility. Lobby and Le Bar had good atmosphere.

  I found this place to be terrific value at us$69 per night which included a first-rate breakfast at the hotel's poolside cafe. My air-conditioned room came with a fan, a big balcony, an en-suite bathroom, fridge and 40" slim-line tv with over 60 channels. It is located behind the Royal Palace, right in in the historical center of Phnom Penh. The hotel is within walking distance of the National Museum, the Wat Botum (Royal Pagoda), the riverside with its bustling nightlife and the lively street 240.   We booked a room for 3 (1 single bed & 1 double bed). Apparently they just renovated the hotel so we got the room on the new building. It was a huge room with large comfy bed. The bathroom was good.   Everything! It was our first visit to Cambodia and Mr Rina, the manager, did everything he could to help us - organised a river trip, a tuk-tuk tour of the town, and a (very good) driver to take us on to Battambang. Our room was spacious, attractive and comfortable and breakfast was excellent (wide selection of fruit, crispy bacon etc). W - This place is just amazing considering what you pay. Very luxurious, the rooms are big, modern and beautifully decorated. The pool area is the most amazing oasis of tranquility, palm trees line the whole place and they have big double sun loungers for you to relax on, plus it stays open until 10pm! The food was excellent, in fact we didn't go out in the 2 evenings we were there (partly due to being exhausted!) so we sat in the lovely open restaurant and endulged ourselves in the great menu and

  Good business-type hotel with an enormous amount of staff eager to help you which can be obtrusive at times. Very good breakfast buffet, both Asian and Western choices. Different room types, mine was excellent with two complimentary bottles of drinking water a day and good amenities.   We arrived following a 3 day trip on buses and boats, so the arrival drink and cool towel was a welcome start to this relaxing hotel. The room was amazing, plenty of space in both the bedroom area and bathroom, including complimentary drinks. It was my partner's birthday during our stay and although I'd emailed ahead and requested a small birthday... vad folk säger » cake, I didn't honestly expect anything to happen, however, he was greeted with a birthday card from the hotel, and an amazing cake was delivered to - A beautiful hotel with wonderful rooms but let down by the noise from the rooms above....from early evening throughout the night and again morning. Stayed 4 nights and each night was spoilt by heavy stomping feet above, scraping furniture and echoing movement. Maybe carpet is needed? I emailed in advance to ask for a high room but was given 2nd floor. I questioned this during the booking in process but was told that there were no rooms (suites) available on higher level floors.   This hotel is a 3 stars managed with a 4 stars in mind. The staff is just lovely. Rooms are quiete, pretty big, beds are super comfortable, 4 stars toileteries and cabin shower (note that many budget friendly hotels in Indochina have the shower that flows directly on the bathroom floor). Lift, good restaurant with excellent breakfast, room service... vad folk säger » ... If priced under 30usd this hotel gives you an unbeatable value for money. The position is not in one of the several attractions centers of the cit - this is my 3rd or 4th stay at silver river, still excellent given its price and service. room service food is very good too although there are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. always remember to check the shower pressure, air-con, toilet flush etc, varies a bit in diff rooms, get a change of room or tell reception to fix it. there is a handyman around. safety box is very user-friendly!
