  Reception staff spoke good english and were very helpful. Our executive double room was fantastic! Big comfy beds. Clean bedding and towels every day. Big balcony. Nice bathroom/wetroom. Good quiet aircon in room. All windows opened. Double aspect room. Lovely big room. Some friends were staying at the St Petersburg 5* hotel. The Park View Hotel was better for half the pr - Great hotel. Very helpful English speaking staff. Rooms are very spacious (some with balconies) Very clean. Bathroom is big with excellent shower. Bathrobes and slippers provided. Plovdiv airport is very close, about 10 minutes away, and the hotel is very easy to find, just one right turn from the airport. The hotel also has a 1st class restaurant. Would highly recommend.

  I loved the friendly atmosphere at the hostel in the first place. The staff and the other guests make you feel part of the hikers' community with your very arrival.   What this little hotel lacks in luxury, it more than makes up for in location, quiet, and gracious staff. Yes, the shower runs all over the floor, the carpets are old and the floors squeak, and the furnishings are dated. Room was clean and comfortable. Access right next to the walking street with convenience store, restaurants, coffee shops just steps away (yet far enough off of that street to not hear the noise...of the people on the street)

  The room was fine - not especially elegant, but with all the modern conveniences which make for a comfortable stay. By far the most striking feature of the hotel was the superb service at reception. From the manager downwards the staff gave the impression of being part of a motivated team which genuinely cared about the well-being of its guests.

  Hotel was lovely but be careful ther is 3 bus station when bookin this hotel we saw revievs close to bus station make sure you get the right on on our arrivel to plovdiv we got to the wrong bus station anyway it wasnt a problem people were very friendly we walk 2k but it ok my husband and I are use to walking the hotel great location plovdiv a lov... vad folk säger » ely city we did an english speaking walking tour we found a lovely resturent calld hemmingway its on the main centre a little above avarage price but - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - and the 24hr recption was always manned by a happy smily receptionist no matter what time! The room was an excellent size and had a lovely view of the hills of Plovdiv. It was well placed, not too close to the centre but only a 10 min walk. It was modern and well decorated, so too were the rooms.

  We were surprised to find Boris Palace immidiately when we entered Plovdiv. Boris, the owner of the hotel, Cristina and the rest stuff helped us with our luggage and parked our car in their private parking. Our room was in the first floor, it was nice, clean, spacious and cosy. Every night we were asked the time we would like to have our breakfast ... vad folk säger » the next morning. Our breakfast was always served in the table making us feeling unique as we didn't have to take a plate and wonder around the restau - excellent location, easy access both to main city sights and shopping, unique design, very friendly owner, wonderful city panorama from the terrace; just a couple of recommendations for future visitors. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes as the pavement of Saborna street is antique and not suitable for high heels; also there is a comfortable parking area just 100 meters from the hotel and it makes sense to use it instead of parking in the nearest narrow side-streets
