The staff is polite, especially the receptionist who met me later in the evening when I arrived (I think - George).   We were surprised to find Boris Palace immidiately when we entered Plovdiv. Boris, the owner of the hotel, Cristina and the rest stuff helped us with our luggage and parked our car in their private parking. Our room was in the first floor, it was nice, clean, spacious and cosy. Every night we were asked the time we would like to have our breakfast ... vad folk säger » the next morning. Our breakfast was always served in the table making us feeling unique as we didn't have to take a plate and wonder around the restau - excellent location, easy access both to main city sights and shopping, unique design, very friendly owner, wonderful city panorama from the terrace; just a couple of recommendations for future visitors. Make sure you've got comfortable shoes as the pavement of Saborna street is antique and not suitable for high heels; also there is a comfortable parking area just 100 meters from the hotel and it makes sense to use it instead of parking in the nearest narrow side-streets

  the hotel's staff was so kind and helpful like in no other hotel ,i've stayed (and that's a lot) the location just behind the main road and old town. no need of taking the car to go anywhere. internet connection is good .the breakfast is poor but nice.coffee,milk,juice,salami, butter,jam,kaskaval,cheese.i... vad folk säger » mentioned parking while booking and we never had problem although it's so central place. good value for money - The hotel has an amazing location just 2-3 mins walk from the old town, 30 seconds walk to the main shopping street and walking distance of many restaurants, cafes and bars. We asked for one particular room and it was given to us. I read many negative comments on the hotel and I don't really dont know why. It is a very nice and cozy place.
