Its tavern serves regional cuisine and unique house wine in a cosy folk-style atmosphere by the fireplace. Wi-Fi is free. Guests at the historic Dede Pene can relax on the 2 large balconies with panoramic views of the Pirin Mountains. They can also make use of the barbecue facilities in the inner courtyard. There is also an intimate library with both Bulgarian and English books. The house is 1 km from the ski lift. The neighbouring village of Banya, approximately 5 km away, is famed for its thermal mineral springs.

Dedo Pene Inn is a very pleasant old inn. It is like a museum, furnished with an enormous amount of objects referring to the the mountain town of the past centuries. During dinner a traditional band was playing popular music and we had a very good breakfast. From our very nice room we could see the snow capped Pirin Mountains. Very good hotel for young people. Traditional bulgarian interior. My room was small and with low ceiling but very comfortable. Almost everything is made of wood. Hotel has its own good restaurant. You get 10% discount if stay at hotel. Price/quality for me is very good. I like this hotel and would recommend it.
