  Excellent location - right across from beach (hotel had its own tent for guests) and flea market; good service in restaurant/room service; free internet - Very well located towards Ipanema end of Copacabana. View from front rooms is the classic postcard shot of Copa beach. This comes at a cost though as traffic noise from Av Atlantica is load and c... vad folk säger » onstant. Very good breakfast and nice rooftop bar. No swimming pool but there are two spa baths on the roof, but I did not use as the water looked a bit suspect.

  An excellent hotel, with probably the best views in Copacabana, specially at the higher levels. I was at the 27th floor and with a view over the Pao de AÇucar from the bed itself, amazing. Excellent light and very confortable bed and room.   Its location is very good for the best beach and safety in Rio area. The staff is so nice that you don't have to worry about anything though they cannot speak good English. My special thanks give to the staff who found and returned the scarf my wife forgot in the restaurant.   I was a bit worried, after reading some negative reviews here, but the hotel was actually quite good, for Rio standards at least. The standard room I had needed some redecorating for sure, but it was very spacious and had a fantastic city view. I was up on the 18th floor, so it was not noisy at all, but it might be more for the lower floors.   The hotel is located on a tree-lined street in Gloria. The hotel is close to metro stop and taxi stand. This was my second stay at the quaint, cozy hotel. The neighborhood is energetic with a nice art cafe across from hotel and there are shops, markets, and pharmacy in the immediate area. The manager and staff are wonderful. The hotel is simple but offer a good enough breakfast. The rooms have a good quality wifi and paid tv. The bathroom was renovatated and is modern, clean, have a good shower.
