  Lovely pousada in a great location. Felt like we were staying at a friends home. Very large and comfortable room, comfortable bed, great breakfast with friendly service. The owner is very warm and helpful. Paraty is very interesting and atmospheric.   The staff was incredibly helpful, setting up a waterfall tour for us on the spot. They were also able to check us in early and allowed a late checkout, which was fantastic for our rather hectic travel schedule.   Pousada is positioned right in the historic center, staff is very welcoming and service is excellent. Special thanks for Madalena and Danilo that did everything to enjoy our stay in Paraty. I would really recommend this pousada to stay in Paraty. - Location and rooms are great, right in the historic centre, and very central to all parts of town.

  We had a lovely stay in this pousada. The owner speaks very good French and proved very friendly. The place is just beautiful with small bungalows, plants and a very nice relaxing area with a swimming pool, a reading place and where you have breakfast. Breakfast is quite good and with a lovely view on the garden. They even have parking - Our pousada (or guest house) was beautiful. At first we were a bit worried as the cab dropped us off down this dark street that looked a bit scary -- but then when we open the door to the pousada it was an amazing oasis of lush vegetation, orchids, squirrel monkeys and humming birds. It was almost like a small village with lots of buildings for breakfast, TV rooms, pool and sitting areas. The owners had a wonderful collection of paintings, sculptures and lots of folk art.

  We stayed for 2 nights. This pousada is located just in front of Plaça da Matriz where is very convenient to walk around the historic center of Paraty. The building is very aged but well maintained, full of beautiful antique decorations in cozy, nice atmosphere. However it does not feel like a museum. The staff were excellent. Very experienced, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
