  The location is just perfect. It is right in the center of the old city center (upper city). A perfect location to explore Salvador. The area the hotel is in is newly renovated and is safe to walk around freely during days and nights. Staff speaks really good English and are extremely helpful. We went for a professional capoeira show in the evening just about 5 minutes from the hotel – supposingly one of the best in Brazil. - The hotel is charming. The staff are among the nicest, most helpful and accommodating I've found in all my travelling. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, the bed could have slept 4 people! The location of the hotel was great for tourists, shopping (although touristy shopping mostly) and taxis were abundant and within a 1 minute walk. Good restaurants were plentiful within walking distance as well.

  The hotel owners, an extremely friendly Italian couple creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is delicious and has every day another surprise. The location is great and you can easily walk to the center or to the peaceful Santo Antonio.   The manager was very friendly and helpful. The location is good, away from the central bustle and noise of central Pelourinho but near enough to fall part of it. The outside areas of the Pousada are very nicely maintained, with a good sized smimming pool and lawn area. My rook was spotlessly clean, with air conditioning, TV and fridge.
