  I was upgraded to an ocean view room. The room was very comfortable and quiet with a magnificent view - as had the gym and the breakfast terrace. Breakfast was excellent, as would be expected for a hotel of its level. The gym was very well equipped. Location is excellent - right across from the beach. He was genuine and sincere of our needs and surprised us with champagne when he found out it was our 20 years wedding anniversary. We remember him out of the many hotels we visited to four countries in our first South America trip. Because of his outstanding customer service, I will be recommending your hotel to my wide network:)

  Very well situated. 50 meters from Ipanema beach. Flexible check in and out. Very good beds and powerful shower. Spacious room. Good breakfast. - Perfect location!!! Deluxe Room was pretty good too.

  I was a bit worried, after reading some negative reviews here, but the hotel was actually quite good, for Rio standards at least. The standard room I had needed some redecorating for sure, but it was very spacious and had a fantastic city view. I was up on the 18th floor, so it was not noisy at all, but it might be more for the lower floors.   Breakfast was included in the price. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, within one block of the beach and lots of shopping and restaurant.   The Staff was very helpfull and very friendly. The location is great and the room very spacious . I would stay again withouy a second though . When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400.   Cleaners never minded cleaning your room very late in the day; and the reception staff were helpful from start to finish. Nice rooms, no complaints at all really. - Location in Ipanema close to the beach, the shopping and the lagoa was perfect! Small room but perfect for one solo traveller.
