The Coast motel is spotlessly clean. Michael and Julie the owners have only been there about a month and were really freindly and helpful. They do a fantastic breakfast and you can breakfast around the pool if you like. Wi Fi is free and a cable is available for internet access. While this motel is not on the seafront, there are lots of amazing beaches a few minutes drive away. There is a tavern next door that serves meals. alla recensioner » Very happy with the location of the motel, it was close to the shops and the beach which was fantastic. The room had alot of space including the bathroom and is was all very clean and well presented. The rooms were light and airy, nicely furnished and modern. Breakfast out by the pool was good and the staff, who had recently taken over the Motel, were very helpful and friendly. Clean, simple accomodation in a nice little town along the beach. Restaurant available nearby and close to beachfront by car. spacious rooms, very clean. good laundry, handy to Tavern. great for a couple of nights but no longer as has no views. Love this motel. We were hoping to beable to walk down to the beach instead of taking our car but found there aren't any footpaths to take leading out of the motel. It's too dangerous to walk down the road in and out as its really busy so it was a bit of a let down but the only one we had. It was difficult to find in the beginning and to locate the entrance. odd smell in bathroom which eventually went with the exhaust left on. Inclusion of a toaster would be great. tv a bit small. Bit of a damp/stale smell when you first enter room but it seems to dissipate during the stay or else we got used to it. Not a big deal and didn't spoil a thing. Key and card being closely tied together made opening door difficult. Nowhere near the beach and next to a tavern, although it didn't bother me and there was no noise from it during the night. A bit of sound proofing for the door would be good. But that's very typical for the many other places where we stayed. The fridge was so noisy that eventually we had to turn it off as it kept waking us up. The blinds covering the window should be changed for block-out curtains because when your on holiday or just having a short break its nice not to be woken up at daylight (thats just my opinion). Complimentary water Quiet. Next door to pub - but that wasn't a problem. Just not clear from advertising. Couldn't fit the bed in the car. The TV Was to Small for the size of the room. Not enough chairs in the room. The television was small in size poor selection of channels the room faces a car park that has strong lighting so the room is very bright when your trying to sleep , there is no cutlery you can't even eat in your room the room is stark uninviting the reception is locked you have to ring a bell wait for staff to greet you this during office hours for the price I found far superior accommodation in Yeppoon with free in room Internet .
