Very nice people works there , only weather was terrible ,. Nice people worked there. It was cold there, this was one of more expensive places to stay in Australia during our triop and conditions were very low. But this is hostel so what you can expect more. Too much $ for the lack of amenities. Everything was extra: towel, coffee, wifi. No soap in room. Pretty basic bare boned place for over 100 bucks. I could have shelled out 20 more $ and had all that and not been locked out at8;45 pm. I'm just too old for AYH's now. Great value for backpackers in the dorms, but this is no motel by a long shot.
