  Location was awesome - absolutely lived up to the pictures, and we loved it. The space was also good - we had two separate apartments with a connecting door. - the staff very nice, design of the bedroom very good, lot of good amenities like a washing machine, a oven, tea coffee, blanket and so on

  The cabin was warm and comfy, the bed was top class and the bathroom was modern with the best shower ever! Loved being upgraded to spa cabin when the double cabins that we booked had all been occupied. The position with lake view was wonderful. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we loved the boat trip. Restaurant food, while delicious, ar... vad folk säger » rived luke warm but was heated up graciously when requested. - It was a magnificent setting and the chalet we had was very comfortable. The ferry trip on Lake St Clair on the Idaclair was wonderful and the ferry driver was great.

  On arrival the hotel staff where excellent being offered a drink to relax while the bags where taken to our room and the receptionist already expecting us and knowing who we are by name. The ambience of the hotel was everything we expected from a small country exclusive hotel.   Excellent central location, comfortable rooms, with a window that could be opened. Beds were comfortable and clean, with no cigarette smells. Option for private parking is very good.
