  The apartment had everything necessary for our stay in Hobart. it was spacious and comfortable, in a good position for walking around the Harbour and Central city areas. The staff were very helpful and polite, Convenient guest lounge through the day supplied good coffee. Breakfast was nothing special, but there are many excellent small restaurants... vad folk säger » open around the harbour. Would recommend highly,and would stay there again. - A delightful city, Great Art Gallery's and Museums. Great food, fresh fish, fruit and vegetables. We booked an apartment at the Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel because (a) it was very central to everything, (b) because we grew up on Vic. sheep properties in the 1940-60s and farmed sheep with Tasmanian bloodlines for wool ourselves and (c) because letsbookhotel.com offered great book-ahead specials.

  The staff were friendly, welcoming and took time to ensure we had all that we needed. They also gave us directions of where to find places and information about restaurants that were open on the public holiday. The room and ensuite were spotless. It was bright and had a good view. Everything worked and was geared for comfort and function (unlike one upmarket resort we stayed at where style overtook practicality). - Staff were attentive and friendly. The room was clean and had heaps of extras for the price. Lots of bikkies to go with ample tea and coffee. Shampoo, hand soap, body lotion. I would definitely stay here again. Great views over the Tamar and city lights.

  comfortable, friendly,reasonably priced, convenient supermarket next door, also takeaways nearby . it was a couple of minutes from the Silver Dome where we had our convention. The Bed was Comfortable. and the staff friendly and helpful. It was central to all of the Golf Courses and was in close proximity of eateries, bars, shops and transport. The facilities(pool, spa and sauna) were also an added bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern and more than adequate in size and facilities.

  It was really central to the town and the parking was $6 which is very unusual for hotel parking. We arrived early and were able to get into our room which is always good when you have travelled a distance. - Great hotel, very central location and we could walk everywhere.   The room was gigantic and really quiet (just ask the room with windows faced to courtyard). Really nice equipped kitchen and just minute from the Salamanca place.   I liked the fact that we had a sizeable suite (i.e. bedroom separate lounge & kitchen) for a similar price to what others were charging just for a motel room. It was close to the CBD, even though the road was reasonably quiet.   Location was awesome - absolutely lived up to the pictures, and we loved it. The space was also good - we had two separate apartments with a connecting door. - the staff very nice, design of the bedroom very good, lot of good amenities like a washing machine, a oven, tea coffee, blanket and so on

  this hotel was in a great location, close enough to walk to city centre, yet far enough away from city noise. Very clean rooms. Receptionist kindly gave us a key to put our bags in room and freshen up even though our room was not quite ready. - The breakfasts were excellent.   Although this motel is a fair way from the city, there are bus stops nearby so the heart of Hobart is only a mere ten minutes away! My room was clean, warm and the facilities were all there. The shower was hot and the water pressure strong! The staff were knowledgeable, helpful and nothing appeared too much for them. The artwork on the walls is not your standard motel stuff but is uniquely Tasmanian in tone, - Ground floor unit easily accessible. Only slept there, so only one issue - the lack of an electric blanket on one of the beds. Great location very close to the city. Tariff was fair'ish for basic room used just for sleeping. Does depend what you are comparing it to. Have paid $50 for lovely b & B's elsewhere. Certainly wouldn't want to have paid any more for this room type. Good parking availability. Overall a satisfactory one night stay.
