We stayed in a 2 bedroom single level apartment in the Mermaid wing and it was so handy, and walked straight out to the pool area. Throughly recommend it. We had friends staying at the same time in a loft apartment and they wish they had of booked one like ours. This is not a criticism because we did pay a little extra for our room. -

The location is great, with a fantastic view. We were given a top-floor apartment which was huge. We didn't have a car but were able to walk to the shops and use local transport quite easily. The pool was a great magnet for the kids and my nephew had hours of fun making new friends there. We definitely intend to return. -

Staff followed up with a phone call (which we appreciated) after check-out re our complaint of poor TV reception - advising he had changed the cable and the reception was now fine. We weren't aware we could contact staff re the TV reception (as we thought it would cost us a "call-out" fee) considering it was the weekend and the hotel reception wasn't manned. We were happy with the cost for the 2 night stay.

We rented a 2-bedroom appartment. It was very large, superb, very well equipped (really above all other appartments we had rented up to this point) and just perfect... The staff was very kind and helpful. Late arrival was no problem. The price is very reasonnable for what you get. -

I loved every second of being there but the best thing about my time up at the Q1 was a certain staff member. Q1 is amazing! I loved the activities that we could do (skyclimb, observation deck - breakfast lunch and dinner!) everyone was so friendly and welcoming! I would definitely come back! The apartment was well appointed, clean and provided all that you could want in a self contained apartment. Great place to relax but with a lot of holiday entertainment close by. Staff were great at contacting us to advise what we needed to do for a late check-in and provided easy to follow instructions. Had a great stay.

This is one of my favourite hotels in the Gold Coast. Brilliant location, close to central Surfers and the beach.
The rooms are clean with modern facilities offering great value for money. My one piece of advice would be to pay extra for a high floor overlooking the Nerang river, they tend to be quieter and offer great views.
