  This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. About ten minutes walk into town which was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful from the night life.Loved the local connection to Papua New Guinea and the artwork at the hotel. Rosemary arrang... vad folk säger » ed a boat trip to the Great Barrier Reef with Compass Cruises which was a fantastic day and great value - Location was convenient to the "Esplanade" and local shopping and restaurants. The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us. The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.

  Nice cabin with all facilities. Even wifi reception. Sadly it rained the whole time we were there, but if the wheater would have been good I'm sure we would have had a nice time. - The friendly atmosphere and very helpful staff, whom were of great assistance with day trip bookings. We did like it that much, we extended our stay.

  within walking distance of all facilities in the town, easy access to newspaper shop, chemist, laundromat and a I.G.A.supermarket across the road from the motel. The owners, Carol and Roger were wonderful hosts, very friendly and obliging. - I particularly liked that fact that there weren't bright lights outside and that the room was very dark ... vad folk säger » at night.
