  Great value for money, really friendly staff. Great pool with excellent waterslide to keep the kids amused. Good shallow pool for toddlers. Nice deep sink in room for washing baby bottles, no need to wash them in the bathroom. The staff was super friendly with us and the facilities were delightful. We really rested while staying here and we would definitely return to the resort if traveling to North Queensland.

  The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. The apartment was spacious and furnished decently. The location is very convenient to the city- 1km walk to SouthBank Parklands and 2km walk into the city. - Close proximity to all facilities.   Booked off peak season a budget room and upon arrival found that I had been upgraded free of charge to a plush self catering apartment. Very comfortable, very pleasant staff etc and ended up extending my stay from one week to just short of three! Very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and yet the friendly manner that made the place fee... vad folk säger » l like home! On the strength of my personal experience would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone i met and infact on the strength of that already t - These apartments are spotlessly clean. Just at the end of a long main street, great for browsing and two minute walk to esplanade with restaurants cafes etc. Pool is adequate size and the barbecue area at the top would be great for larger groups. Our room had lovely decor, very spacious bathroom with lots of room to put things. There were two arm chairs near the window plus a good size balcony with table and four chairs so you could sit in or out and still have the view over estuary.

  Just loved to be together and relax and unwind have a drink and a great meal then see the show then went back to the beautiful room then in morning we had a sensational meal in the flames cafe. I liked the fact that the lady who serviced me on check- in was super friendly and commented on my birthday and how young I looked. Had a great time, the breakfast included in our room was very good and also the staff were very helpful, thank you.

  We arrived late after an extremely long journey from the uk and were immediately greeted warmly. We were told all about our room. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. The bath/wetroom was absolutely ideal for my wife who is disabled. It was quiet even though it was close to the breakfast room.   We were a couple with a infant. We were recommended to this hotel by a friend. It had cooking facilites we wanted for our baby. T also had Air conditioner, car parking and wi-fi which we look for where ever we go. The staff (receptionist- I assume she is the owner) was very friendly and helped us a lot to plan our sight seeing.   We had a fabulous stay and cannot fault the accommodation and facilities. A couple of things that were a stand out was the standard of our room - modern, comfy and clean and the location - pretty much walking distance to everything.   Fantastic value for money - I was a bit worried because it was at such a low rate...but the rooms are big! It is very comfortable. Staff are helpful and 24 hrs. There are two pools, which was great for the kids. Restaurant, room service at night, and $8 cooked eggs for breakfast. We stayed in the most basic of rooms. It is certainly not brand new, but it is clean - 1. and out of the CBD which enabled us to have a peace and quietness during the days and nights for rest and sleep. 2. Fast & efficient check in and check out. 3. linkage and calls for taxi service. 4. Easy access to Esplanade walkway for walks, exercise and relaxation. 5. Swimming pool for apartments easily accessible and free for my children, and not crowded. 6 Very convenient apartments for family my size.

  The Martinique is so conveniently positioned (on the main street and only metres from he 4 mile beach) yet extremely private.   As we do stay at nautilus frequently a cheaper rate would entice more stays more often. We did take you up on an email offer in May 2013 which did encourage us to stay with you again.   The location can't be beaten if you want to look at the city. We had the trains and buses at the door and only a block away from Kurilpa Pedestrian Bridge which gives access to the Southbank with only a 10 min walk. The staff were friendly and obliging. This is a great spot to explore from. We enjoyed being almost across the road from Rom - The first time I stayed at Abbey apartments I booked a superior room but it was absolutely disgusting. Shocking! So this time I asked to make sure I really had a superior room as each time I paid extra for it. This time my room was lovely. Great value for money. Lovely furnishings, dishwasher, dryer,and washing machine. I appreciated that the improved things for me this time. I liked that the heating and cooling was so easy to control and fab location.
