The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. Very helpful staff, great position. Good value for money. Rooms were very clean and bright. Really appreciated extra touches such as free use of beach umbrellas and chairs as well as kids toys. Thanks for making our first day at Port Douglas so memorable.

Lovely location. Comfortable room. Great to be able to prepare our own food in the converted train carriage. And staff were very kind to put a kettle etc in our room on request even though the room would not normally have had it. Also very happy to find a toddler bed safety guard rail in the room to stop our little one falling out!

This was by far one of the best motel stays I have experienced anywhere in the world.
The owners efforts to provide little unexpected extras make this a fantastic motel, close to all amenities and definitely achieves it's (home away from home) motto. Will definitely be back. -

Staff were great, bathroom was very clean and modern, as we only stayed one night and had to leave early did not use the restaurant, maybe next time, free Wi-Fi worked great, is a must these days and will only stay at places offering it -

For a budget hotel the inclusions in the room were excellent. Was impressed that there was more than one little milk for coffee etc. there was actually about 10 and not just one shampoo etc. the rooms were spacious and well appointed again for a budget hotel. the owners tried really hard to make the place value for money. Cleanliness, neat facilities, friendly welcome and generous size of apartment and appointments. NOT run-down or shabby looking like so many other airport motels. Everything in the room functioned too.
Quiet enough for a city location and free off-street parking. Very easy to find.
Perfect if you have an early morning flight out from the airport!
