  Great value for money, really friendly staff. Great pool with excellent waterslide to keep the kids amused. Good shallow pool for toddlers. Nice deep sink in room for washing baby bottles, no need to wash them in the bathroom. Nice outside space on the ground floor - recommend ground floor rooms. - It was the perfect place to stay after a 3 days/... vad folk säger » 2 nights cruise through the Whitsundays. The staff was super friendly with us and the facilities were delightful. We really rested while staying here and we would definitely return to the resort if traveling to North Queensland.

  The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived till the moment we departed. Even our request for a dinner reservation at another restaurant across town was made without any bother and even arranged taxi for us. Bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Shopping, bars, restaurants and cafes in John Street were within easy walking distance. Nearest Ci - Design and elegance of rooms and Hotel. Everything has been thought of down to bathroom lighting at night. Clean Eygyptian cotton white hygenically washed bed linen instead of re used bedspread expected for 5 star. Fabulous decor, wonderful attentive staff, 24 hour service, great location so close to excellent shops and restaurant and relaxing roof top pool. Value for money.

  Convenient location. Clean, roomy and comfortable accommodation. Good parking (very important), quiet room. Good "pull-in" driveway for being picked up by family or taxi. Helpful and friendly reception. Hoping to stay there again when we come down soon to a show @ QPAC. - The room met most of my requirements.   Booked off peak season a budget room and upon arrival found that I had been upgraded free of charge to a plush self catering apartment. Very comfortable, very pleasant staff etc and ended up extending my stay from one week to just short of three! Very impressed by the professionalism of the staff and yet the friendly manner that made the place fee... vad folk säger » l like home! On the strength of my personal experience would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone i met and infact on the strength of that already t - These apartments are spotlessly clean. Just at the end of a long main street, great for browsing and two minute walk to esplanade with restaurants cafes etc. Pool is adequate size and the barbecue area at the top would be great for larger groups. Our room had lovely decor, very spacious bathroom with lots of room to put things. There were two arm chairs near the window plus a good size balcony with table and four chairs so you could sit in or out and still have the view over estuary.

  Just loved to be together and relax and unwind have a drink and a great meal then see the show then went back to the beautiful room then in morning we had a sensational meal in the flames cafe. The girls were so nice and helpful. It was my fiancees birthday. We are so busy with work and live apart from each other we definately hope to do it again ... vad folk säger » one day we deserve it. Thank you outrigger your the b - I liked the fact that you noticed it was my birthday on my comments when booking my stay. I would like to thank you for the up grade to a one bedroom apartment it was wonderful. I could watch tv if my husband wanted to sleep. I liked the fact that the lady who serviced me on check- in was super friendly and commented on my birthday and how young I looked. Had a great time, the breakfast included in our room was very good and also the staff were very helpful, thank you.

  Fantastic value for money - I was a bit worried because it was at such a low rate...but the rooms are big! It is very comfortable. Staff are helpful and 24 hrs. There are two pools, which was great for the kids. Restaurant, room service at night, and $8 cooked eggs for breakfast. We stayed in the most basic of rooms. However the "kitchenette" had... vad folk säger » everything, including an electric cooker, so really the only thing you are missing out on is an oven. It is certainly not brand new, but it is clean - 1. and out of the CBD which enabled us to have a peace and quietness during the days and nights for rest and sleep. 2. Fast & efficient check in and check out. 3. linkage and calls for taxi service. 4. Easy access to Esplanade walkway for walks, exercise and relaxation. 5. Swimming pool for apartments easily accessible and free for my children, and not crowded. 6 Very convenient apartments for family my size.

  The resort and beach was amazing. It was the nicest place on our trip (out of Cairns, Port Douglas and Fitzroy). It was a very relaxing stay with delicious cocktails by the pool and pub meals at the ocean side bar. You could snorkely straight from the shore to see coral and little fish which was great. The coral wasn't as good as other places... vad folk säger » but was still very nice and very safe and convenient. I would also recommend doing the scuba dive from the shore. The resort offered a free 10 minut - Weather was nice and that always helps!! Great hotel, friendly and very helpful staff. Fantastic location. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment, the room with the "apartment" had a view of the sea, was bright and lovely. Luckily we were in the "apartment" and not the darker room!!!!!!!!

  We liked the size of the bedroom. Everything was very clean and the staff was friendly. The location is gorgeous, a few minutes by walking from the CBD, a little bit more from South bank but there's a rental bikes station close to the hostel and it's very cheap so you don't have to take any transport if you want to visit the whole city. Marie - The hotel had fantastic friendly staff that went out of their way to help and make us feel welcome. Fantastic food, rooms were clean and well kept. Room had a beautiful view. Situated in the perfect spot for shopping, going to south bank, restaurants and public transport. Highly recommend staying there.

  The location made it really easy for me to walk to most places I had in mind to visit. The City, Gallery of Modern Art and Foetitude Valley. The night view of the city lights was spectacular and a lovely spot to enjoy a quiet cuppa at the end of a long day. Having the Aquatic Centre just across the road was great too.
