I stayed for a week, the staff were very very helpful either about the public buses (bus stop next door) or activities to do, really nice and quiet in the evenings. we stayed two nights at this hotel. we got a specious apartment with a spa bath. everything was spotlessly clean. well equipped kitchen, and a good a/c. there is even a secure guest parking. the staff was very ftiendly and extremely helpful. location is also very good. a walking distance to mitchell street but not too close to hear the noise. even the supermarket is around the corner. and price was just right to give a great value for money. absolutely recommended.

Excellent location and close proximity to CBD and able to walk to quite a few attractions in Darwin itself. Short trip to Cullen Bay Ferry, Mindl Markets and Darwin Sailing Club to watch sunset which is a must. Very friendly accommodating staff and service of rooms excellent. -

The proprietors were outstanding. We arrived having lost the use of our
credit card as it had been cancelled due to online fraud. Our debit
card turned out to be out of date. We were in the embarrassing
situation of not being able to pay short of doing a direct bank
transfer. The owner said "don't worry, when you get back to

Great room with fridge so you can prepare your own meals if on a budget! Staff were fantastic, knowledgeable about the area, helped us plan where to go, which buses to get and even helped us with setting up an Australian mobile (this was our first stop of our year in Australia)... 5 star service couldn't have asked for better hosts! Our stay at Palms motel was very nice. The owners were nice as well as the cleaners. Its a very family friendly motel, with all the facilities u need as well as being good value for money. The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble.
They provide a well-equipped kitchen for the use of guests, as well as a laundry and line for drying clothes. There is a small but pristine pool.

Manager Ray was excellent with his knowledge of the area and advice. We were seven of us and had booked for only two nights but we came back for third night on way back from Ayres Rock. There was nothing better than White Gum Motel ( location, value for money and hospitality).
