With a 3 year old who loves water the pool was brilliant. The location of the units was also excellent being just 75 metres from the beach and 5 minutes walk into town. It was very quiet being off the main road and the upstairs rooms are shaded by treetops. -

We have never stayed in Macrossan St on our previous 6 visits to Port as thought it would be noisy. Not so and an ideal location to walk to everywhere we wanted to go.

The Outrigger Apartments were very well located for both the town of Port Douglas and the beach. The living area in our two bedroomed apartment was spacious and well equipped and the apartment itself was all that we needed for our stay. The Owner /Managers were very helpful and welcoming. accommodating and perfect location, 2 streets from the main Village. I

Great location - 5 minute walk to beach or Main Street and 10 mins to wharf area. Great pool - nicely set with enough room for everyone. Lovely helpful lady at reception - so easy to book trips to reef etc.

1. Best location in Port Douglas in my opinion. Hard to appreciate on the map but right on beach and close to main restaurant and shopping row.

The staff were friendly and gave a full tour/explanation of the facilities and took us to our room on arrival. Food and drink available to order by the pool which made for a great relaxing stay. Awesome breakfast included. Love the no under 16yo rule and will be back.

Verandahs is in a great location, so close to everything, no car needed.
Older children can safely move between Verandahs, the shops and the beach on their own.
Sue was a real pleasure to meet and very helpful.
The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was spacious enough for 4 adults and well equipped.
Overall stay was really relaxing.

The Martinique is so conveniently positioned (on the main street and only metres from he 4 mile beach) yet extremely private. The managers were very hospitable and gave great advice on eateries and the activites available - the owners fred and antonia were very helpful and charming the service was great

The location is the best in Port Douglas. The rooms and facilities are luxurious and very comfortable. We stayed in a penthouse suite and couldn't have been happier. The privacy, the secluded area per unit. The gardens were amazing. All the little extras were included like robes, candles, mozzie coils and so forth ... more than you would expect from a budget resort. Such a relaxing and tropical atmosphere. This accommodation was the best thing about Port Douglas.
