Overall I think its a great place - neat, comfortable with a warm home feeling, loved the on areas with fireplaces!. Staff were excellent and willing to help. The restaurant Chez Pok is fantastic! They catered for our gluten free requirements really well and the food was amazing!. Location and spacious grounds. Being relocated by a very pleasant efficient and polite receptioist when we asked to be moved from an upstairs room with no view. Value for money deals available due to renovations taking place. Quality of service and food at Chez Pok.
alla recensioner » Rooms were very nice and bright and very modern, they had everything you'd find in a city hotel. We stayed at Peppers as part of a wedding party to get organised on the big day. Peppers accommodated us , nothing was too much to ask and every request was met. Lovely friendly staff,nothing was too much trouble.Very comfortable room with a beautiful outlook.Kangaroos hopping around.Restaurant was first class.Overall had a great weekend. Friendly staff, Good Resaurant, Nice Rooms, Nice Setting (Plant, Greenery & Fields). General Ambience. nice terrace beautiful garden with kangaroos charming luxurous hotel good location. The food. this was our first visit to the region and we enjoyed the lush green country side, the weather was beautiful and the food at peppers was superb, prompt, the wine tour was value for money and educational. the staff at reception and dinning room were very courteous. Nice rooms, quiet and good location. The location was fabulous. Setting , food , staff. Good location. Nothing. Not a lot to dislike about it! Probably the only thing was the bed- its one of those that have two ensembles with the king size mattress on top. Bed was confy but could have been better thats all. Being placed in a room with no view for a two night stay. No notification on online boolking site that discount rates were due to renovations. Would not be willing to pay the advetised room rate ( although the special rate during renovations did represent value for money). 1. Confusion with other Pepper (tree?) Facility virtually next door! 2. Paying for Wi-Fi. very expensive. Room needed dusting. No bath in room, only a shower. Breakfast was over priced. Bathroom too small and no bath. N/A. Quite noisy in the morning. Things that needed maintianance.ie.a/c did not work in room 203 then moved to 209 my wife could not flush toilet or turn on tv plus other maintiance issuses. Bathroom a bit small. Website not clearly showing what was on offer at Peppers I looked to see if there was a pool, so didn't bring bathers!. Size of room, stains on carpet, small windows, small bathroom, no bath. Lack of a compendium detailing resort services and map. havn't slept in a single bed in decades. i kept slipping out. was the bed too small?. Breakfast could be server a little later on sunday. Finished at 10.30 should go to 11am. I was disappointed that the room wasn't dusted, there was dust on the bedside table and on the radio, and housekeeping hadn't replaced the cups or glasses used, an oversight perhaps. Looked a bit like a prison cell needed some colour simple cushions would suffice also food in restaurant seemed a bit lazy - great concepts but lacked delivery. Everything was an extra!! After paying top dollar we didn't expect to pay for everything!! Didn't let us know that a continental breaky was $26 ech!! Ridiculous for some toast and check out in our book was 11am and they told us 10am.. needs paint. pool needs resurface. Needs a few more touches: newspapers at door, bigger LCD, wireless internet,. - Small motel-like rooms - nowhere to sit other than the bed - Mould in the bathroom/shower and fittings very old - Neighbour's air conditioner was right outside our window and cut in and out all night - Charged $14 for a mini bar item that was listed for $12 - Breakfast was extortionately priced at $36 per person - Pathetic value for money at $300/night - I expect more from a Peppers at that price. Very poor value. Resort old needing complete refurbishment. Pool and spa very poor, restaurant poor for food and service. Do not stay there if you want the luxury promised on line and by the cost.
