Staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, allowing us to leave our car parked out of the heat while we went whale watching. Extremely friendly. Location is excellent - over the shopping centre, a short walk to the marina, restaurants, water activities. Good value for money - kitchenette and spa bath in the deluxe room. The old couples who serviced us (I assume they are owners) are very kind. Location is perfect, walking distance to everywhere of Nelson Bay. Room is clean although a bit old. The bed is a bit too soft to me. Everything is good to me and good value for money.
alla recensioner » The convenience of being right in the centre of town and the secure parking. The common areas were clean and attractive. The mattress was comfortable. I found reception very helpful and friendly, I would not hesitate to recommend my friends and family to stay. I found the room very nice, the building was quiet and it was a central location to shops and food outlets. Staff were amazing and room was comfortable and clean. The decor is a little dated, but for the price was good value. The rooftop swimming pool offered fantastic views but appeared in need of resurfacing which made it a little uninviting. nothing. The air freshener wasn't very pleasant. When booking there was no option to book a sea front room (even if at a higher price). The outlook onto shopping mall roof and no sunshine meant that the balcony was not inviting to use The tiling in the bathroom could do with tarting up. Hot water was a bit low in the morning. Rooms are not modern, but you have everything you need. The noise that comes up to the unit from the people at street level walking from the pub and sitting from cafe underneath. Needing to use the key in the elevator to go top (pool) or bottom, arcade. I know this is for security, but still a bit of a pain. Nothing!. The air conditioning didnt reach the bedroom and if you opened the sliding door in the bedroom it was too noisy to sleep ended up having to sleep on the lounge to get the air conditioning. Decor is dated but otherwise good. Apon arrival we were told about the pool being on top.... Went up there to have a swim but instead saw no water just a very run down pool not like the pictures I don't know why we werent told about the pool being out of action... And were even told about it??. Dated needs a revamp. Décor a bit drab. 70's. Room 10 far to claustrophobic air conditioner blows on to bed so couldn't, have it on. old and small room. Unfriendly reception, unclean bathroom, dirty glasses. Horrible, horrible place to stay. Asked for two single beds got 1 double.
