We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with beach/ocean views. As we are an older couple is was great to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view. The convenience of the restaurants and shopping just below the resort was a bonus. The kitchen was at the front of the apartment, great idea.The pool and spa great, no problems. As a (hinterland) local it was a lovely surprise in every aspect. It certainly confirmed for us to support locally as everything is on our doorstep and we absolutely enjoyed the 'sea change' even for just a couple of days. :).
alla recensioner » Really liked the black leather lounge recliners and the main bed was super comfy. The balcony was fabulous. We could see the whales from Balcony. Location. View over the beach and same view from kitchen. Spacious , perhaps this was because we had a 3bed unit with only 1 bedroom access. Everything about the room was good - well laid out, comfortable furnishings. Excellent location. Unit 39 was very spacious and comfortable. Loved being able to sit on the balcony. The location and the view over the rocks and sea. View and location plush towels, key security. In the heart of mooloolaba. Location.Comfort.View. Location. We liked the closeness of the resort to the beach. We liked the layout of the unit. We liked the friendliness and support of the staff. Location was good with easy access to a good variety of eating establishments. Lovely position overlooking the ocean & friendly staff. I loved the location to all of the amenities and the beach. The location was good. Handy to good restaurants and shops. Position was excellent Large kitchen - well set-up. Location. Its an older property and a couple of things in the room needed a little cleaning, but overall it was fine. Ohh you know....the garbage truck at 5am, the noisy drunks finding their way home even before that, but really, that's just life! At home the kookaburras wake us at 4 am :). Uncomfortable bed. Very hard mattress. Very poor lighting for reading. Feels aged 1970s. Not really good for young children. The location of the pool right outside the window of guests who didn't tolerate quite low noise mid afternoon was an annoyance and off putting for future stays. N/A. Our balcony was very close to the pool, so lacked privacy, and was noisy when kids were swiming. Outdated daggy layout, view obscured by brick wall on west side Bedroom was dingy, shower was dangerous as you had to put your hand through the water to reach taps. bathroom needs a fan as fogged up, outdated linen in bedroom, no shower cap, only sachets of shampoo and conditioner, analogue TV in Bedroom couldnt play DVD in lounge room. The fittings in the unit were aged The linen especially the towels were very old. We asked for an ocean view and got a partial ocean view looking over a tennis court. There was no air/con to the bedroom which faced west. Could not open the blind as other units in another block looking directly in the bedroom. Could not leave curtains open in lounge room if wanted privacy due to windows of front unit looking directly into our lounge room. So, could not have privacy and tennis court / ocean view at the same time. Only 1 car space and carpark smelled bad. Apartment was a little small and I was disappointed as the website does portray it as a bit larger. When I booked I was told we would be front facing, on the 10th floor - full ocean view. We were put on the 7th floor in a side apartment. Still with ocean views though restricted. Was disappointed. The apartments are dated & need upgrading & the security system requiring the use of a key in the lifts etc is a bit inconvenient. I thought the apartment was shabby and was in need of a complete revamp. paint and furniture. It was one of the most expensive apartments I had looked at and therefore it was disappointing when expectations were high. Unit was tired and badly in need of refurbishment and updating. Not very clean with dead bugs and dust on wondow sills and cracks and holes in the walls. Reception staff a bit gruff. -Level 2 - very noisy (right near pool, noisy people and filter, bins being dragged out at 5:30 each morning!!!) -Little privacy (couldn't sit on patio most of the time because of the people in the pool - had to keep doors closed) -Not enough seating in living area. The unit was quite dated . Some electrical equipment didn't work . The single aircon unit was inadequate for all the rooms . Very noisy early morning at the rear of the units . Very few plastic containers to put food in . The actual unit was nothing like that portrayed on the web page.
