The room we stayed in was able to be dark with the blinds down for a sleep in. The staff were very helpful and willing to help with anything requested of them.   Location!!!! It was extremely convenient. Opera house was a 2-minute walk away. Both the train and ferry stations were at the hotel's doorstep. Botanic Garden was also just across the street which was great. We travelled with 2 toddlers and the room was very comfortable and the balcony was great too. I would recommend it. - I loved the view, and the good sized balcony. I loved that there was extra milk in the fridge, most places I always have to ask for more, though there wasn't enough sugar (we are big coffee drinkers). The spa didn't work so they gave us free dinner in the restaurant as a compromise, loved that! oh and the bottle of bubbly sent up to the room after i mentioned we were celebrating my hubby's 60th birthday was just lovely, thank you! :) very happy

  It was sheer pleasure to stay at Quay West! The Staff were friendly, efficient and attentive and bent over backwards to be helpful. I ordered Room Service breakfast which was delivered hot and on time and it was everything and more than I expected.   Great location for sightseeing and near the Rocks. The room was very well appointed, laid out and comfortable (including the bed). A few friends stayed at the same hotel and all thought the same. Being on a high floor facing George St away from the noise below was good. Having a balcony to step out was also a good feature. Cooking facility is good as well, good stay...lots of places to eat for lunch, but most of them are closed after 5:00pm. There is a Chinese restaurant just cross from the hotel, nice food, reasonable price. Hotel is located at waynird station exit, quite convenient!

  Close to Wynyard station Lady at reception was lovely and helped me with my bags, toddler, portacot etc, she loaded me onto the trolley, including my son in his carseat and helped us unload into our room. She had a NZ accent and was wearing a grey shirt when she checked in. She was great and deserves recognition!! On the Sunday there was a brunett... vad folk säger » e lady (looked young, maybe mid twenties) who was very helpful to me and my son and held the lift as I arranged him and my groceries in the early afte - We stayed in a deluxe 2 bedroom, one bathroom apartment with our 3 kids including a baby in a portacot. The apartment was fabulous, very clean and spacious and extremely comfortable for all of us. Our kids loved the heated pool and spa. Excellent location and easy walking distance to the main attractions and with Wynyard station around the corner, getting to Bondi or anywhere else was a breeze. We will definately stay here again and recommend to others.

  My daughter and i stayed at Napoleon on Kent for a 5 day trip to Sydney and we couldn't of asked for a better place to stay at. The staff greeted us with kindness which is always a good start to any holiday. Wynyard train station and buses 5 mins around the corner. Restaurants - Great place to stay and will be back the next time we visit Sydney. The staff were friendly and always polite, you felt very welcome. The room had plenty of space and very comfortable. Was also great to have a kitchenette in the room. Considering the location, I thought it may have been a bit noisy but there was no noise at all!. It was very quite. Loved being so close to everything and would definitely recommend as the place to stay!

  The location was fantastic and so close to everything. Easy walk to Circular Quay and also to Pitt St Mall and Darling Harbour. Lots of eating places nearby so no need to cook. The studio apartment was spacious enough for us, the bed was very comfortable and having the kitchen and laundry facilities was a bonus. I w - Excellent appartment with everything you need - including a washing machine. Large and very nice rooms. The hotel is in the middle of the city - ten minutes walk to the Circular Quay and five minutes walk to the mall and all the shopping opportunities. Darling Harbour is also close. Staff is very service minded.
