  I had spent three days hiking so was looking for a hotel room with a spa bath. The Heritage Hotel room was perfect. The spa filled fairly quickly, there was plenty of hot water and the jets were strong. The towels were large and very soft. The motel room was spacious with a dining setting and microwave as well. The breakfast had a great variety of both hot and cold food and the staff in both reception and the d - We were a family of 5,booked 2bdroom and there were 4 single beds and a double !! Wonderful ..so much space for us, with a cute little kitchen/dining.with microwave...convenient location with many shops and cafes within walking distance. Recommend it to families,with Breakfast.. So much easier.

  I stayed in room 23 with my girl friend Karen Bosco who made the booking. I live in Adelaide Karen lives in Sydney and came to Katoomba to do the mountains with Karen over the Easter break. I was blown away right from the start of our stay, the fella who did our booking when we arrived was so helpful the way you pulled out a map and started to poi... vad folk säger » nt out the touristy things to look at blew me away (now that's customer service something you don't get a lot of these days) breakfast was plentiful a - We were very impressed with the helpful staff, all very friendly and they supplied a lovely full breakfast in the dining room and in our room we also had a microwave and items to be zapped in it were available for purchase at the office. We entered our room it had the heating on and was lovely and warm and very comfortable the whole time. It is about 15 mins walk (with luggage) from the Katoomba Railway Station and very convenient to shops and all facilities.

  The bed was very comfortble and the thick curtains was great for a sleep in. Also the double glazing on the windows made for a quiet night's stay, which was surprising as the Motel was reasonably close to the main road.   The staff are very helpful and welcoming. Location is fantastic, only a few minutes' walk to Echo Point and the spectacular view of the Three Sisters. The room was spacious and comfortable with a fridge microwave and tea/coffee facilities. The hotel also has it's own BBQ and has lent us cutlery, plates and bbq utensils as well as oil.   The location was perfect. 3 Sisters and Aboriginal Culture Centre a short walk away, as is a fish and chip shop and a winning little restaurant "Pins on Lurline". The bus stop is right outside the side entrance, and the $50 explorer bus pass took us to all the sights, including city buses to farther afield, plus discounts on local attractions! Breakfast supplement, bu - The hotel was in easy walking distance of the Three Sisters which was ideal as car parking charges there can be quite expensive. An ideal location for exploring the Blue mountains. We were there when the forest fires were raging but everything was under control. There were many fire fighters staying at the hotel and loads of fire trucks parked around the streets so we felt quite safe. Added to the excitement really.

  We stayed only 2 nights at 3 Explorers and had a really relaxing comfortable stopover, The room was well above our expectations, well equiped and furnished with excellent taste. The staff were great, friendly and able to give good acurate and uptodate information on local attractions. We enjoyed staying at 3 Explorers and would stay again Our dayt... vad folk säger » ime highlight was our trip to the Scenic Skyway etc where we spent a whole day for a reasonable dollar value - Very nice attention, the host was really helpful with everything we needed, and he was always worried about giving us the maximum comfort. The beds where very big, the room was completely well equipped with all kitchen staffs, and the location was very good. The wifi access was very good and the place clean. Also the rooms where well acclimated. I reallyrecomend it.

  The staff there were so accommodating, we felt as though we were staying with their family (in a good way)! The rooms were recently renovated and were fresh and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the heating blankets were such a welcome treat for the chilly winter's nights. Breakfast was fabulous and very affordable. The woman that we dealt with was so friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious enough for 3 adults and we didn't feel like we were on top of each other.   Even though I was travelling solo this time, there were several family groups staying at The Cecil, and there was plenty of recreational space for children, with table tennis, a pool table and a large TV viewing space. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the old time decor of the Cecil indeed makes it "just like staying at Grandma's".
