  A bright roomy hotel in a perfect location for exploring inner-city Darwin & its attractions. From the moment we entered Doubletree we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff, our room was lovely [probably spoilt us for all hotels and motels in the future], and our week-long stay filled with nothing but positives. - Great location. The hotel stored our luggage until our return and the guest laundry facilities enabled us to wash and iron our clothes before moving on. The restaurant provided two excellent evening meals.

  Great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were also great and I like that the place was surrounded with lots of trees and gardens so that staying there was very relaxing and laid back - very similar to the Darwin vibe.   Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. I requested a cot for my 6 month old daughter upon booking the room and it wast forgotten about (most hotels forget this). Valet parking was excellent and staff were available and helpful when i needed an extra hand to put pram and baby in the car. Very comfortable and felt welcome. The bed was very comfortable. We also appreciated the cold water in our vehicle when we collected it each day. Loved the art in the foyer.

  Excellent location. Friendly, accomodating and professional staff. Did not have many of the negative experiences others have mentioned on this site (E.G. dirty water, unclean rooms etc.). Full hot buffet breakfast very decent. This was most welcome! Pool has a bar attached. Solid 4-star accomodation. - Facilities were great! Very clean room, spacious, and had a comfy bed.I had a view of the waterfront and wharf area which was beautiful. Walking distance to restaurants and shops, and tourist attractions like the Wharf, parks and harbour area. Staff polite and friendly.Will certainly stay there again.

  It was in a good position and easy to get to places we wanted to see.Our first time to Darwin and we loved it. The only drawback is that the accommodation is too expensive. - We found the staff very friendly & helpful and the facilities nice and clean. We also found the location very good for eating & viewing attractions around town

  We had 2 days in a unit with an excellent view of Stokes Hill wharf, and 1 day in a 'city view' room, which was significantly smaller, but still very acceptable. Only a 10 minute walk to the city centre, but there was a lot of facilities (tourism, eating) nearby. - The rooms were large and very clean. We reported the problem the next morning and it was fixed within a couple of hours.

  Loved teh new part, but next time we want to stay on a ground floor apartment of the new lagoon area. Our Kids really enjoyed it.
